The newest HW 308 casting is my favorite 1/64 car, period. I don’t even really collect HW and I not really an exotic car fan but there is something about the newer HW 308 casting that is just absolutely beautiful, especially the Magnum PI release.

I found that dark Ferrari 308 GTS still in good condition. Founded a thrift store in a bag of Hot Wheels cars.

I checked the three variations of the 308 GTS QV that you showed plus the Magnum P.I. Retro Entertainment version and, you're right, there's no copyright year. I think it would probably be "©2008" considering the casting premiered in the 2009 series of Ferrari Racers. I wonder if the cryptic "N5555" on the chassis has something to do with the copyright year? I have pre-Hot Wheels versions of the Corgi Testarossa and the 348 but I don't think I have a Corgi 308 GTS.

D38 means made the 38th week of 2011 starting in 2008 hot wheels started a 3 digit manufacturing code the letter being the year and and #'s being the week hope this helps for future reference I really enjoy your vids
