I just recorded using your Magma Silk plugin. Results turned out good! Question: in this video it looks like you're applying the vocal chain to your whole vocal group. I found that I didn't like the parallel effect as high on my lead vocal but a little more on my dubs. Would you run two different groups of vocal stacks for different vocal groups? Sorry I'm using ableton so it may be a little different.

I actually use soothe 4 times. One time for each main frequency region in order to still get the intuitive big knob adjustment from soothe - from the lows to a high de-esser. Pretty cool how this is set for that. But I will PROBABLY still with Soothe

I use the DT 700 Pro X and HD-25. Both are low impedance and don't need an amp.

There's quite a few differences. Silk is optimized for vocals specifically, it has a built in compressor and it's low latency (you can track live with it). Soothe is a more advanced plugin for taming, it's best suited on stems or the master bus imo.

Technically, Soothe is not the original idea, it is just the one that got more popular. Melda MSpectralDynamics and Voxengo Soniformer have a similar approach to Soothe and came first.
