In November I was on a flight from SLC to BNA and they were testing the free wi-fi for Skymiles members of all levels. I stream a youtube livestream for 3 hours and it worked pretty flawlessly with only a couple of minor pauses.

If you have T-Mobile, you can already get free wifi internationally when flying with Delta. I flew from Korea to Seattle two weeks ago and I was able to get free wifi with my tmobile account.

United will start rolling this out in 2025 but it will take time to update all their planes. Still an awesome thing to hear. Cruise ships are also starting to adapt this... Meanwhile American Airlines is, well...
