Thank you David for the Introductory Wireshark course. We do install cisco phones thru vast networks to the remote site. Voice quality/jitters are one issue we faced with customers. One question, if I have a laptop running Wireshark, do I have to connect to the same switch the IP phones are connected to capture packets?

I tell the story to everyone as I’m someone that is hoarding resources to learn the stuff and that’s all I’m doing I haven’t took the time to start focusing point being is I fell in love with the F 12 K on a Windows computer exposing HTML and then I started to learn HTML and I was told oh I. Need to learn a strong language or foundation language like Python or CSS etc. so I started with Python which confuse the shit out of me I recently installed Kali on my M1 and I’m getting carried away but not overwhelmed I guess what I’m trying to say is should I focus on the basics or something I need direction please thank you
