Hexa got discontinued because tata didn't had a bs6 compliance engine, tata is working on it, besides if you compare hexa with crysta, you can guess why people used to buy crysta over any other mpv, for its reliability and resale, while hexa was unreliable, innova crysta was epitome of reliability. Fit and finish of hexa was not upto the mark, tata usually launches good vehicles but they often forget to work on the reliability factor. And mahindra's tie up with sangyong got over, qnd alturas was based on the platform of rexton so basically it will eventually get discontinued, although it is qn extremely good car but still people dont buy that. Its kinda sad and after launching xuv 700, mahindra put the alturas on ventilators.

@@shreyanshtiwari2430 the reason hexa engine wasn’t renewed by tata for bs6 was to pull the plug on hexa because it had low sales , and hexa anytime soon doesn’t look to make a comeback because now tata have launched 7 seater the new safari , as for reliability and resale yes toyota has the great mark in these two corners but don’t say tata aren’t reliable they are very much capable of going for many years , as for crysta even it doesn’t have the 25-30 lakhs car quality inside and outside it and is hugely overpriced but will always sell because it has the toyota badge

@@gkautomotive Trust me 4x4 tata vehicles are the worst when it comes to maintaining them very expensive, you can hear the sound in the video it's making mechanical wise.There is a reason why it's cheap and you really think any one would sell hexa 4x4 for so less .It's a meter back vehicle I can assure you plus it's delhi registered, you would never find fortuner with these noise while off reading.

@@TheMohitSinha it's only 245 section it's not a big tyre😅,fortuner comes with 265 section you won't hear any thing ,I get it people like Tata ,so do I but trust me when it comes to 4x4 tata were never good choice ,there is a saying avoid buying 4x4 safari because their parts are not reliable,they don't offer differential also.I would suggest if you want a cheap offroader go for following- 1.Gypsy 2.Thar 3.Fortuner 4.gurkha

It does not have Low range but is not exactly an AWD also as AWD's just have a centre differential. This has a transfer case.

It's an intelligent AWD system , it can provide 10 to 40% of torque to front wheels , when slippage is detected on rear wheels and then uses traction control system to break the selected wheel that is slipping , it's all automated , nothing manual needed , just select auto/off road drive mode and your are good to go.
