That 4 cylinder has a lower torque curve below 2000 rpm this has slightly better torque…and torque is virtually the same in both the engines…this will almost behave the same.

@ i agree but the 4 cylinder does struggle below 1500 it is another thing that it picks up well and easy when revved…this 3 cylinder inherently needs more input to pick up but the 2nd has more torque in the mid range which helps it a little…Ps we own the Ignis and the 2nd gen swift while my friend recently bought the current swift recently.
