3days back I drove my brezza for around 200kms in highway. Mostly I drive light foot. I had plenty of time and thus drove at 70km/hr. Average in MID reached 25. Later I drove in bad patches and finally after 500km of drive MID settled at 22.6. So overall in mixed driving conditions with full time AC an average of 21km/lt is easy on light foot.

No way! Company claimed mileage is 19.89 km/l, always check mileage by tank-tank method. MID mileage is not accurate, and varies by 3-5 km/l too...

Tata changed its style from four cylinder to three cylinder back in 2017 with introduction of revotron engine. Though the engine was rough, they improved quite good. With good average and clean engine they were already ahead of time. I had tested mules of 1.2l revotron in Tigor and 1.5 litre K CN series engine working in GV. The plush ride is far good in Tigor than GV above 80kmph.

Yes, there are certain changes in the BS6 cars like of charcoal canister. It absorbs and recirculates fuel vapors to improve fuel efficiency.

BS6 engines are designed for low fuel consumption and better mileage. BS4 engines are better in responsive action and have more torque and bhp, though they are seen less on paper, but driving in hilly area will surely make you judge the two aspects of same engine. Example 1.5litre KB series on jimmny and 1.5l K CN series on Grand vitara. Being more in size and heavy, it still provides better mileage than Jimmny

Dono 4 cylinder 1.2 wali 80kmph@ 2k rpm, 100@ 2.5k rom aur 120@3k rpm me krti h. Maruti ki kisi bhi car me 1.2 ke sath wala 5 speed gearbox kafi low rhta h rpm me. Jbki maruti ka hi 1.5 engine chahe brezza ertiga ciaz kisi me bhi ho maruti ke 1.5 ke sath wala 5 speed gearbox 350-400rpm jyada rhta h hmesha.
