Absolutely loved the humility and gentleness in how you responded :-D. This video has made me think half of me would love a video exploring the different electronic genres and their key features whilst the other half prefers the music is music philosophy.

One of these days I might do a genre deep dive, where I just do my best to create as many subgenres as I can find. It won't be good, but as long as I'm learning I'll be happy. Thanks for watching!

Your drumming ability really shows here. The way you are able to hear beats before you even put them in the sequencer, "dat-do-dat-do', gives you a head start in composing on the OP-Z. Thank you for all your instruction on this device. Keep on making music.

I'm scared but excited lol, will update when done edit: couple things, lol at 12:22 being when the bass work started. I love it so far though! Also! When do you consider a project/song done? Going through your old videos and wondering if you have done anything about turning loops into larger projects. Would love some advice from you. Also also, do you review other peoples works? New to this whole thing but loving your takes on things.

It's a hard thing to define when something is actually done. I think we all know the feeling of wanting to go back and continuing to mess with it, it's pretty hard to just walk away and call it finished. That would be a great video idea though! ask her reviewing other people's work, I haven't done anything like that yet but it's something I'd be interested in.

Nice approach to the "issue" (not the best word, but that's what I could do with all my English skills hehehehe). You turned something that could lead you to a bad mood into a learning, having-fun, one-more-video opportunity. Profit! Congrats

Don’t read the bottom half of the internet and don’t sweat the haters. You’ve got talent. Was that drum and bass.....kind of. Was it an excellent demonstration of how to bang out some ideas on the OPZ? Yes definitely. Best drum and bass vid I saw on you tube with TE was on the PO 12. Production of the video was great too. If I can find it again I’ll leave a link. I’ve never clicked dislike on your videos not so interested in the ones with no music but you put out something every day! That in itself is amazing.

Hey man that was really good! I have a challenge for you. I know the OPZ is for creating electronic music but is it possible to create a track from a genre that is based on acoustic instruments? Any genre from Classical, to jazz, to polka.

I thought it was always pretty obvious when you're doing a gear/technic demonstration that the tune is pulled from thin air. I kind of appreciate that it's not over-rehearsed because it's closer to what anyone exploring the gear would be capable of and helps set expectations. Rehearsed jams or produced songs can come later.

The OPZ device intrigue me a lot. Is it a toy? Is it a pro tool? Why are they so expensive and why do I want one so bad? Eheh
@cookinuts19233 жыл бұрын
Even a spoon and a bit of sand in a plastic bottle can become pro tools 😊😉

I'd say it's more of a pro tool than a toy if those are the two options on a scale!

I'm a genretard. i even watched the "120 edm genre" video, which only made things worse. so, whatever you just did here was cool. some day, oh yes, some day, i will make a "vomitstep" challenge for all to create a piece in that genre. I kid you not. that was in the genre vid. [To be honest, i seem to like the trance/house and slower chillout/ambient mostly. Gioli&Assia currently rule my Eworld because they totally mix it up AND Gioli is a genius. but russian hardbass is killer too, so ok, i have a feel for a couple of genres.] If someone asked me what EDM i could learn in a free class, i would choose GOA Trance. ps. re:G&A. those 2 wild sicilian ladies hauled a piano to the top of mt etna in the winter to shoot a video above the clouds in the snow. that's the most metal thing i have ever seen done to shoot a video.
