I have the cycles and the syntakt and I just don’t think the syntakt sounds as good as the cycles …. The cycles has some kind of great saturation going on

Did you ever solve the sync issue?

Hi! I bought a Behringer model D, and when I turned it on only the overload light blinked and it didn't do anything else, they changed it for a new one and it does the same thing, so I tested the power supply of my rd-9 and it works perfectly, What do you think the solution would be?

Got them syncing but only the audio of the slave plays, for some reason the master audio doesn’t come through.. I tried swapping the po’s too. Weird

Excellent explanation of sync and clock. Thanks very much. Now I'm not confused about sync and MIDI.

Can you stop flicking your hands around like that? Roland MC-101 is about a million times better and costs $500.

Watching the ease of use of grid-based interfaces (8 * 16 pads etc) makes me really jealous... Definitely have to invest in a PE Plus, Deluge, or a grid-based MIDI only sequencer. If it just wasn't the money ;(

I forgot how cool the _Play_ used to be, haven't played mine since the *+* came out (still kinda bitter), but selling it I'll take a hit, and keeping it I feel I've been taken advantage of, I think if I smashed it live on video I would feel justified 😂 great video btw, I'll have to check out that sample pack, sounds amazing! 😎

I totally appreciate your quest! I’ve been through a half dozen or more trials with pedals, including KMI and the first Moog Pedals. I currently have an old Roland PK-5A, which is great, but requires occasional maintenance. It plays a Moog Taurus module, among other things, and gigs well. You might keep your eyes open for a used one. They do show up occasionally.

The "flux" n "step divider" make this sequencer unique. In fact there are 4 bars. The only Volca with that ability. There was a time when Korg was selling those for 110$. Now it can be kind of expensive and selling fast on used market. Just bought it (again) for 90$, hope its in good condition. This time I won't sell it... like never. Modern classic. Its so easy to make it sound like a Blade Runner OST.

wll youvdo (or have you already done) a more in-depth tutorial for the Morningstar MC6? Devices like these ellude me. Do you have to understand MSB/LSB for program changes? I can never wrap my head around that.

I actually just released a video last Friday where I talk a little bit more about how I set the pedal up. I don't even know what MSB/LSB are lol. Anyway, here's the video :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqObl5KeYs2HhJI

As a drummer myself, I’m confused as to why separate tracks is an issue… we practice for years to get all four limbs to work together, the circuit does that for you.
