Let me tell everyone something. If no one, who doesn't like Freebird, there is absolutely something wrong with you. What most people don't know, is how' the first verse came about. And ex-girlfriend of Allen Collens, said to him, as she was leaving, said to him, if I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me. And the rest is history. Allen, you absolutely have no idea what this song, and the end solo, of Freebird, has done to so many people, over the year's of wanting to, and learning how to play the solo at the end. There will be both young, and older guys and girls learning how to play this, long after me, myself are gone. You were absolutely born in the right era, along with Ronnie, Billy, and Steve and Gary to form the absolute greatest Southern Rock bands to ever come from the South. You will, along with the rest be missed always.
