Im "committed to freecad " as I use linux and it ( was /is ) the only real alternative BUT I get tired of the" curveballs" it throws example; Im drawing a frame , as per "manifold, parts wb exturde plane" now I have 7 extrudes as its extruded every little segment separately so NOW I have Join. delete, figure out ask for help give up ALL I WANT TO DO IS DRAW A SIMPLE TUBE IN 3D varicad did it fine and the "annoying " thing is when you highlight the inconsistencies its never the software problem

Ive noted the learning curve, its pretty big but i suggest looking it another way until u figure it out perhaps, a smaller pipe until u figure out where n why its failing. Theres a few other chioces out there for Free 3d software, heaps tired at moment but the developers of the Freecad kernel also have free software, umm Design Spark n Onshape theres more, but i bet u stay with fc because of the ecosystem.
