@@ishanblackbird I've been working on this for 2-3 hours a night and just speeding through it following along, with pausing and everything I'm at about 6 days and I'm just starting the final project section. However, I would note that I wish I had slowed down and taken some extra time to practice content in between chapters, as I am feeling like I've just glazed over everything and haven't really absorbed it. I mean not a huge deal, I'm just going to practice more now, but I feel like I would've have learned it easier just taking it one concept at a time instead of rushing through 2-5 chapters a day I also realize you posted this a month ago, so you've probably finished the course and this response won't be helpful to you - but maybe it'll be helpful to someone else who is wondering the same thing :D

Thank you so much, Dave Gray, I was learning with a book, and it was taking a long time. I must admit the CSS COURSE helped simplify everything and taught me the basic CSS. Combined with the book really boosts the learning of CSS. I have a group of 20 people I am teaching how to implement CSS so we can be prepared for a web design class in our bachelor's syllabus. This has improved my learning speed and has given me confidence.

It blows my mind how far HTML and CSS have come. I started teaching myself about web design in the early 90s. Right click> view source. I would spend hours pouring over notepad screens tweaking and modifying other people's HTML. Eventually, I was writing my own from scratch. Then, one day, I came across one that had the CSS tags in the header. Back then, CSS was just an easy way to change the colors and fonts of every page on a site by changing one file. It made things so much easier. It still does that but now it does _so much_ more. Browsers are so much more sophisticated than IE and Netscape Navigator 3. I didn't keep up with it. I stopped learning in the early aughts when I was tinkering with Macromedia Flash and Actionscript. This course is exactly what I've been looking for to get me back up to speed with CSS. I'm bookmarking this video to use as a reference.

Love the instructor, follow his HTML course as well if you haven't already. It would be if he also worked on more web projects with HTML and CSS in a different tutorial. Showing how to do a home page. I am still in the middle of this tutorial maybe he has done that in the end? But still should do more and more that will help us understand even better. Thank you

Thanks. I hope to come here in 3 months to tell you how far I am on my journey now. I think I finally understand a respectable amount of CSS theory to try to build some simple beginner website. I will look for ready-to-use materials and give it a try.
