Love what you’re doing for golf and bringing men and women to this channel!! So true that there is no worse feeling than hitting a good shot and not finding your ball when you KNOW it MUST be somewhere reasonable! That’s GOLF❤

I too have a similar problem. My normal shot pattern is low draws, but after many practice sessions on the range… I began to change my swing pattern to produce more fades. Through the years of playing, I’ve realized that hitting all sorts of shots has made my repertoire so much stronger! Fear of hitting it long or short has changed to a greater interest in the challenge. I hope my experience can help you understand why we all need to diversify our talents in the field. 😊

Beautiful swing, and you know better than I, but notice you are a quasi sweeper, and don't hit down and through compressing the ball creating more height. Best Regards ~ David P.S. I would have loved a shot of the green from the tee box :)

That is one of the things I like about visiting new clubs/courses, you can play them without any preconceptions. Reminds me of a round this spring in Scotland, on Brora. Had this 2nd shot into the 17th, 180yds and and it is more of a in-into-side wind then into, hit it with 10% of my best. Ball ended up on back foregreen, can't complain. The teeshot on the 18th though. Same yardage. Feeling surprisingly confident, I hit an even better shot than the previous approach. Didn't matter match, I had managed to hit it into to deep hollow before the green. I even asked the ball to roll gently, because since it was more of a side wind and a better hit, that I would be long. I wasn't. Man does golf give you som rude awakenings some times.

I walked up to the hole once and did see my ball in their, I was elated for the hole in one (from 137 yards), but disappointed to have not seen it go in. 4 weeks later I holed out my 2nd shot on a par 4 from 165 yards that I did see go in - it kinda made up for missing the hole in one :D

#13 at my home course. You'd think a par five wouldn't be so hard. With a driver there is only one landing spot. The second is the hardest layup I've ever seen (not close to reachable in 2). Having to thread a layup only gets you a middle or long iron to an elevated yet shallow green. Over leaves a tough downhill shot and short roles 50 yards back at you. Bogey is a great outcome.
@jamesedwards18067 ай бұрын
I have 2 holes like that where I play (par5 approach shot #14 & par3 #16, swan lake, clarksville Tn) the #16 is 137yrd but plays 158-165yrds depending on the wind! Stop by some time & check in with Charles, he'll get ya go'n!👍👴🦸♀️⛳️🇺🇸🦅

Those 2 putts in the 1st batch of 3 were heartbreaking. Do you have to block out 2hrs of tee times when filming something like this, or do you just let people play through? Attempting to go back to carry/stand bag after using pushcart for last 3 months. I still got some poundage to lose, so you got me a little worried I may have made the wrong decision with that hill lol.

interesting idea for a vid. a drone shot overlooking full hole woulda been nice. might be time to invest in a drone to grow the Paige brand.
@chrissinclair44427 ай бұрын
If I were you I would to find the club you can both it a high spinning trap that will have the distance to make the green, and the spin to hold it. The advantage is the green is closer to the apex so the trap doesn't lose as much spin falling from a high apex. Usually most think of a trap as a low high percentage shot, especially off the tee. But I think you can try this and get it to work, or tell me I'm full of it.
