Freediving Wasini Island, Kenya - underwater photography

Snorkelling and freediving off Wasini and Kisite island near Shimoni, Kenya. Dolphins on boat ride out, and huge numbers of fish and corals on the dive. I was using my Nauticam underwater camera rig while apnea diving - its quite difficult - the photos are not my best, but he experience was amazing.

I did the same freedive with the local divers off wasini island years ago. An experiance i willl never forget. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful island. Me and my wife visited and did some snorkelling offshore there . We spent some time in the village too. Lovely people 🙌🏻

There must be caves in those rocky outcrops - but I didn’t find them. Nearby there some caves where slaves were gathered before shipping away - so there are hopefully others without a terrible history.
