Brake clean will mess with your liver and kidneys. It'll even seep through bare skin let alone an open wound. Always wear safety gloves and eye protection when spraying brake cleaner. Try washing your hands with brake cleaner and then go to the doctor's and have some blood work done. You'll get some very alarming numbers.

You need a Federal Permit just to collect ones found on the ground unless you are Native American. Look it up.
