My wife revealed her promiscuous past to me after 20 years of marriage. We are both Christians however, this news has negatively impacted our marriage. She also informed me that this is why our intimacy has suffered for so long. God forgives however, there will always be consequences to our choices in life. Most men will not marry a woman who has shared with him that she had a promiscuous past. (There are significant reasons for this that I don’t have time to share in this post.) This vital news was not revealed to me ahead of time. There was also an abort…. baby that I wasn’t aware of. I say all of this to say, be honest about your sexual past with your partner “before” you get married so “they” can count the cost and decide if they want to enter a marriage where intimacy issues will definitely be an issue.

We meet outside in public space. As far as porn...I used to watch it but the Lord convicted me. These are broken people being used by Satan. I pray for people in sex addiction. It's very serious. If the Lord delivered me, He will certainly do it for you.

I know this whole waiting until you are married is very touchy but there has to be some passion before you are married. You are right, Sarah. A past that looks pure does not mean you are free of sin and temptation. When we have already made our mistakes, however, we do have a chance to come back to truth and never look back exactly because of those mistakes, and for that we finally can know better. I turned away from my own sin for years and now I am finally healing and I am grateful. There was a time I used to flirt with my wife and we would exchange gifs from porn scenes and talk about sex we would find a porn scene that's kinda showing what we talking about and we would watch it. Now watching together doesn't make it better, it hit me one day and I called her immediately and tell her we are Christians and don't think we should be watching porn or using it to flirt I don't want to bring that into our marriage and that was the end of it. we have never flirted like that again or watched porn. The desire does come to watch porn at times because I love sex. But one thing that makes it easier for me is that I notice that the enemy uses it to hinder my relationship with God. So I try to stay as far as I can from it.

Thank you for this video and your other videos! This channel has blessed me and made me think a lot. I am in a serious relationship right now and my boyfriend and I are thinking of getting married. My boyfriend is just getting to know Jesus and it's nice getting to see him fall in love with God and relish time spent with him. However, he is not taking sexual sin as serious as I would like. I have been a Christian for 8 years, but struggle a lot with self control and religiosity. This is my first relationship and unfortunately, we've been sexually active since we began dating. As he's gotten to know God, it's more frequent that he doesn't want to do anything sexual, but whenever we do sin, he bounces back so quick (within minutes) and just says its because he knows God has forgiven him and knows he's weak and doesn't want to beat himself up over it. Whereas, I struggle with feeling so guilty for not obeying God even as he blesses me and pours grace over my life. For me, it feels like abusing His grace. I think my boyfriend is partially right but also that he abuses God's grace. I don't want him to feel like he is being judged but it's gotten to a point where I don't even want to see him a lot so I won't fall into sin because it seems like he takes it so lightly. So my question is, what should I do if my boyfriend is not leading me to remain pure sexually, but leads me to grow in almost all other areas? I know you are busy so I appreciate if you are able to respond

I would def communicate to him. There is a difference between guilt and shame. It is a healthy thing to feel guilty for doing something wrong, but obviously you don’t want to live in that Shane day in a day out. The best thing you can do is communicate your boundaries with your bf. If you love him and he loves you, you will feel safe knowing he’ll respect your decision and want what’s best for your relationship. You never have to be afraid to do what’s right……you got this, girl ♥️ Also, Idk if you’re catholic, but going to confession is SO FREEING Aand truly is a sacrament ordained by God for our healing.

I just wanted to please ask you to be very careful about “soul ties” at first, it really spoke to me, I thought, wow this is exactly what happened to me, I wanted to know more, so I started looking it up to see the biblical basis for it, sadly I found non. I encourage you to put it into prayer, you have a big following and the things you speak of in the name of the Lord must have a biblical basis so that the people that listen to you don’t get confused.

Just wanted to confirm this is the first time you’ve heard of soul ties since watching my video? :) I’ll link a video below explaining soul ties, but this is a topic that is debated sometimes amongst Christian’s just like so many other topics in the bible. Whether or not our souls are actually knit together I can’t say, but the breaking of soul ties is just repentance for any sins committed in the relationship (i.e sex before marriage - the bible says the two become one) forgiving the other person (which the bible calls us to forgive others as he forgives us) and renouncing any vows or ungodly relationships we partnered with. @@noniphelembe4719 hi, I thought the same, then I realized thought reading the scripture, that the flesh (body) is not the same as the soul, we as humans are made of 3 very distinct parts: body, soul and spirit (Thessalonians 5:23), of course they all interact with one another but they are individual at the same time, so it’s not your soul that is being tied up to another but rather, as the scripture says, your body that becomes one with the other person, that is why I believe that this soul tie concept might not be biblical. Lol it's such a coincidence how I shared with my pastor and other church folk literally 4 days ago about soul ties and I got so much backlash. I was bold enough to say that I had experienced it's effects and God had delivered me from it. I can say that it's something that seems completely unbelievable to any believer or even unbeliever who hasn't gone through it, hence the big debate about it. Below are some scriptural references around this topic: Now when he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. Hi Sarah and the NowBloom family! I was considering praying the Soulties prayer in response to a serious crush I've had. It seems a little uncoventional, I know, but I don't believe that I have received any confirmation from God that this individual is my future spouse. When they came to mind more recently, I dismissed the thought. Then, I realized that maybe these were instances where I should just pray for him. I prayed general, good things, like "Help him to seek You more Lord." I know it doesn't benefit me to picture this crush as a spouse, and I have earnestly prayed to God to help me stop thinking about this guy. So, from watching your video, I figured praying the soultie prayer may not only help me solidify that I want my heart and mind to love God first on a conscious level but also work on a deeper spiritual level. Hi Sarah, I have had an experience where I wanted this particular person who I'd find charming and attractive to want me and love me in ways that I want or desire. But I realized I was getting more and more attached to the idea of them loving me but I couldn't be myself with them but try and be someone that pleases them so they'd validate me, and I really hoped this person to turn more god- conscious and I loved the idea of me helping them through their journey, I just got lost in my imagination of building a future with them but over time I realized that this isn't healthy and is unrealistic so I turned towards God and felt I need to work on my relationship with god a lot more and it seems to help me.

Hi Sarah! :) I *LOVED* this video! I saw it while I was on vacation on the hotel TV. I wanted to respond/comment on it as soon as I saw this video but I couldn't. There was an unrecognized sign in in my email so Google asked if I wanted to change my password. So I did. But then I neglected to write down my new password somewhere thinking I would remember it but as it turns out, I have no idea what my new password is. So, I'm basically locked out of my email. Which sucks! I don't know if I'll ever remember the password and I didn't have a phone number or email connected to it. Oh, well. Hopefully it'll come to me eventually. Maybe in certain cultures. But I don’t believe that’s true in the us. All most people are thinking is that they don’t want to be with someone who gave it away indiscriminately, or if they do choose to be with someone with a past like that or if they both have a past like that than they just want what they have going forward to be special.

I’m already married but this is something I struggle with. My husband and I are both Christians but my husband has a sexual past and I don’t and it’s the hardest thing ever. I ask God to help me because it’s so hard for me to accept the fact that he did what he did (I judge him a lot because he sinned several times ) and I know we are all sinners but sex is sex and I can’t get it through. Idk how to accept it and completely move on.
