I was at this concert! Houston warehouse live! It rained that night as we stood in line for tickets and I would gladly do it again. I can hear my whistle at the end of this song. Great time and a great memory. My favorite musician on earth, wish we could have shook hands, but just being there was a great honor. Godly wisdom in his songs every verse.

Same. I remember this concert very clearly. It was incredible. He came out and talked with the audience afterward and took photos. I was lucky to snag a pic with him. The guy is humble and only falls more in love with Jesus as time goes on.

We love his music too! My husband started it by falling in love with the song at the end of the movie Yellow Day called Farther Along. Then I looked up more of his music and we love it! I guess I am kind of calling it folkish Christian music. We love Bellarive too! I think you would like Will Reagan and United Pursuit. It is similar to this. I just found Rivers and Robots too. Like Casey Butler says in his reply, these are hammer-ons and pull-offs. The basic technique is quite easy to wrap your head around. It's just a matter to practice it a lot, because it relies a lot on finger strength. Look at some fingerstyle percussive guitarists, they use these techniques a lot. There are probably some videos for it as well :) I can do some basic stuff, but this one is really hard, I find myself haha
