@@dedskin1 because you don't understand even the definition of free market capitalism doesn't mean you are superior. The U.S. is closer to communism than free market capitalism by definition, we are right in the middle, we are a fascist economy. Free market capitalism and anarcho capitalism is far right meaning the free markets and the people who participate in the market (the citizens) make all decisions on the direction things go for example, the company who offers the best quality at the most affordable price will get the most business, instead we have government control of what should be free market pricing controlling prices to keep them inflated whether it be minimum wage or it be prescription drug costs. Free market capitalism is the voluntery exchange of labor or products for currency. Remember, free market is voluntery. With all of the unions, regulations, taxes, minimum wage, all of this is literally the definition of fascism. Fascism is step 1, step 2, socialization of industry once fascism has pushed all big industry into goonberment sanctioned monopolies. 1 company per industry is much easier to seize control of than 20 companies in the same industry. Once nationalized, then the 3rd and final stepped has arrived, the complete control of pre planning an economy right along with everyone's lives. Communism is not even close to where I am, which is anarcho capitalism. I can only dream that one day we may all be allowed to be on the same playing field, once goonberment gets their boots off of our throats and allow real capitalism.

I already answer that. Why you asking again? Why is the question? Probably, I cannot be 100% sure, but I was caught in the middle of hard ball politics inside the political zoo of Washinton DC. The summary is that, I have payed US 200.000 for studying at George Washington University just to see my life ruining since then. Not even if I was the worst person on earth I would deserve such miserable destiny. GWU enjoyed the US$ 200.000 (back then). I enjoyed nothing at all not even more or less, just plain ruin. Again, Why? The process of being admitted to an American University is carefully done, since the letter of acceptance of the University, the latter of financing of the Brazilian Agency who will pay for the tution, untill the issuing of the student Visa by the local American General Consulate. Everthing is well explained but the miserable results such as desqualification , abruptly interruption of working Visa at the World Bank and back then in Brazil, thousands of Resumes without response ( I said thousands). Then, in Canada I worked for 8 month sit in chair without doing anything at all (doing nothing can you believe). The kind of work I develop at World Bank is available, you can perfectly read it and evaluate what I have done. Why is still the question my friend. Well at age of 64? the Why is no so relevante anymore. This whole story just reveal that America has developed a polítical system much very similar to Comunist China, and for some reason, what has happend to me, and is still happening, is a result of cruelty of a country transvestite of Democracy but in reality is a miserable dictatorship. In the end, that is the reason America had transfered all its industrial assets to Comunist China and not to Mexico or Brazil. Otherwise, we will be like Comunist China and none of that would ever happen to me. Then, Why America has done that to me? Why?

I remember being able to watch things like this around 10 or so years ago when I was a kid; they would play documentaries like this on mainstream news channels and let the population decide how much they would take to heart. Now everything is just...neutered. The truth is considered to be whatever each individual says it is. It's always interesting to see what goes viral and what doesn't now that this kind of whistle blowing has fallen out of fashion. Too many in our generation love to preach social responsibility, rights, and morality, but rarely do you see them actually walking the talk or even being bothered to make something like this as popular as their war against things like "mansplaining".

That is so true. Nowadays people just utter words even though they say they are telling the truth that they don't intend to stand by. I think human value ( human words ) is degrading because there are too many people on this planet. When I was sixteen, some 50-years ago, I used to work in a popular health food store in Los Angeles. I worked there for over seven years, and our biggest seller was raw milk, and raw milk products. In all that time, I never even HEARD of a single person getting ill from raw milk. I'd like to share my story, one that every American consumer should hear if they truly want to know who controls the entire food industry. Back in the sixties, the American Dairy Council wanted to stamp out all competition to their pasteurized products, in other words, any milk that isn't boiled at high temperature. All mass-produced milk comes from over-stressed cows, pumped full of steroids and antibiotics, and sometimes not under the most sanitary conditions. But by boiling milk to death, it eliminates any of these "problems," including giving the product longer shelf life, ALWAYS a major concern of all mass-produced food products. The "bad news" is, this heating process also kills nearly ALL of the natural nutrients present in raw milk, including the naturally-occurring digestive enzymes it contains which makes raw milk directly from the cow a truly "perfect food." The proof of this is, I am extremely lactose-intolerant, but with raw milk I could drink an entire quart without a single problem. "Back in the day" the leader in raw milk producers was *Alta Dena Farms,* a family owned and operated dairy, who always raised the most sanitary and healthy cows in the industry, always certified by the FDA as having a clearly superior, totally safe, and all-natural product. But when the ADC tried to force them to boil their milk, they refused, and the government decided to punish them for it. One of their hidden operatives planted a few quarts of their milk with a non-lethal salmonella bacteria, but no one ever got ill, because they mysteriously pulled ALL of Alta Dena's products, including butter and cheese, off the store shelves before anyone was the wiser. After nearly bankrupting them with this staged event, the story eventually went away and Alta Dena was back in business, but they refused to pasteurize their milk like everyone else, as this was their only competitive edge in the entire market. That is when the government decided to permanently DESTROY the small family dairy, by "suddenly discovering" a second few quarts of milk mysteriously containing salmonella, and again without a single human being ever getting ill. But the handwriting was on the wall. Soon thereafter, Alta Dena was permanently out of business, bankrupted by the unending lawsuits they could no longer afford. This is how the major food corporations like Monsanto gets rid of the competition, not by creating a better product, but with continual and backbreaking lawsuits.

@@tbrew8222 It’s not that simple, business people are technically citizens too. There should be emergency powers implemented, for when the government has become too corrupt or incompetent in running a country sufficiently. Within these protocols: All politicians should be barred from receiving any gifts. They should be barred from dwelling or going near their kins homes/luxuries (since lobbyist can just give you money and resources via through your son’s/daughter’s bank account, especially if you live within your son’s luxurious home) They should be barred from meeting with their “supposed” rich friends too. (Not that they can never talk in person to there successful friends, it’s just that they have to meet up within a non-luxurious area like McDonald’s. There can be some instances in which they can go to fancy dinner events, it’s just that those luxuries events have to be conducted by government instead of those suspected lobbyists.) When a politician quits he’s position in the republic, he is to be closely monitored or perhaps even guarded (depending on their popularity). If the retired politician starts getting paid $600 instead of $200 per week (like the rest of the average workers) the federal government has the right to confiscate $400 worth of those unusual earnings weekly, due to it being *suspected* of being bribe money (in the sense that you’ve made a secret dealing for example: that if you pass this law, the lobby group will smuggle money to you, through a certain job outpost). These restrictive emergency protocols should last up from 25 up to 50 years at least, until the corruption within the state has been measured to be at a very low state.

This is a large lesson which we folks in India must intend to understand with the new farm laws, something that I supported until now. We need a different farm law not these ones, one that balances the market of small and big farmers not the one that corrupts the system as a whole. Being a right liberal, this documentary was eye opening for us in India.

The only thing missing is, there must be some cap on how much one corporation can buy from farmers. Because if just a dozen corporations buy all our food and process it then small businesses will starve to death. Whole business industry will be owned by a dozen family only, Farm laws need modification, I am not against modi but farm laws need modification.

When has it been since the last time anyone has ever seen a real honey bee as I have not seen one in years and years before I can remember or as far back as I can remember. And if we try to research this problem what kind of excuses will we find why the honey bee is and has been declared extinct? Could it be that the common honey bee what is the greatest cross pollinator of all insects that would be a very serious problem for a company like a Monsanto who sell new hybrid seeds every year for just about everything and including everything we eat. So our little friends a honey bee rest in peace if still alive would make it impossible for a Sci-Fi like company call Monsanto to genetically engineer the proverbial Killer Tomato who raped potatoes whose offspring would be seedless melons

Stuff like this is why I've resorted to growing my own vegetables. I'll eventually have my own "mini farm", including live stock. I also prefer farmer's market over supermarket. I also make my own certain seasoning, sauces, jams, glazes, etc.. so I can minimize the preservatives that my children can consume. We make our own tortilla/potatoe chips, fries, and sometimes bread. We will soon make our own pasta of various shapes. Certain items, like milk, we don't have a choice but to get them from a supermarket; Sometimes from Oberweis Dairy. Bottom line --- I don't need bs government to tell me the food is safe when they're not. Idc what happens to me, but I'll be damned if they harm my children.

I disagree with how they portrayed these issues. We don’t want “freedom from government,” we want “FREEDOM FROM TYRANNY.” Government regulation is not inherently a bad thing. Healthcare for everyone, paid for by taxes, for example, is something everyone should want, rather than a police state paid for by taxes. Guaranteed income, clean air, clean water, caps on rent and mortgage- these are all things that other rich nation governments provide for their people via taxes. America is the only country to not provide those things and instead pay for more police, more police, more police.
