Navalny polled at 2 percent. Vladimir Putin won the election with over 64 percent of the popular vote in every election he's faced and has an approval rating of 84 percent. The idea that Navalny was this great political rival to Putin is just ludicrous. Navalny was polling at 2 percent, it's the equivalent of Joe Biden taking Cenk Ugyur seriously.

One of my bosses had me psychologically assessed in order to have me fired but I’m 51 tomorrow and I will keep calling out BS. I lost my master supervisor the day my paper was due because I wanted to write something useful not theoretical. I’ve given my paper to many areas of government. Most are happy to receive yet I’ve had almost no engagement with people but I keep putting it out there! If you can’t do anything for yourself do it for your kids. @@Tod_oMal Lira defended the invasion of Ukraine. He thought it was perfectly OK that a human rights abusing dictator should be able to invade a sovereign nation. Assange is not dead. He was never poisoned. He had a trial by jury. He had the protection of Western freedoms and democratic principles. He had the protection of Western press freedom. Comparing these two to the persecution and murder of Navalny in Putin's Russia is absurd.
@Tod_oMal
@Tod_oMal 3 ай бұрын
@@anthonymorris5084 You are factually wrong about Lira. He never defended the invasion, as a matter of fact he himself and his family have been a victims of it. But he did told the truth about what was happening there in the Donbas region, factually the war was started in 2014 by Ukraine/NATO and not in Feb 2022. The invasion was part of an ongoing war against the Russians Ethnics in the region. But because he told the truth, he had to pay that with his own life. Lira's dead is on Biden as much as Navalny's dead is on Putin.

So I hear a lot about Putin being evil, but I also listened to a long interview with an American who got to know Putin quite well back in the 90s when he was stationed over there, and he said he was deeply religious and Putin asked him to pray with him for hours. Not that being Orthodox would make him a good man necessarily, but his testimony was that he liked Putin and thought highly of him. Obviously he's skimmed a lot of money and gotten extremely wealthy, but at the same time he's very popular in Russia. So are there blogs and books that actually connect the dots and link all these dying people to Putin? I'm genuinely curious, because I have heard so much contradictory stuff about him. I also take anything from Western sources with a pinch of salt as there's so much blatant propaganda and lying in the Western media. Personally I'd take him any day over Trudeau, but that's a low bar.
