Carbons ain't for me Hear me complain about it weekly on Twitch www.twitch.tv/buzzcutbrandon

it's the noise and style of em, they're a "premium boot" but always sound clacky and cheap.

I think a lot of us like that ASMR vibe. It reminds me of Eugen's "Long Shot", no music, just urethane against asphalt; maybe mic your skates? Would totally watch more.

Dam that's an interesting idea! I'll give it a go. Thanks for watching! ❤️

I remember when I got my carbons I hated them the first few sessions. Serious inner ankle pain and the soul plate seemed off to me. I gave in and heat molded them and the pain went away and I started to adjust and really enjoy them. I learned my first topside in them, but then found the cuff would dig in and ended up causing swelling when boning over that much. So I retired them from aggressive and use them for big wheels now. I think they feel great on my 90s! Missed seeing your KZbin videos recently so good to see some skate ASMR. The grinds on the rail sound great on my headphones.

I'm having the same experience. I have already heat molded them too. They hurt my ankles to even just stand in. Cheers for the insight and support man. I hope you're doing well ❤️

This is great content, your skating looks way more relaxed than I'd be on fresh skates. Props

Thanks for watching! I was surprised how easily I got used to them. The HUGE soul plates helped though 😅

You have great, confident skills with the one foot stalls switch ups on the mini ramp coping, i'm secretly cringing watching it from the missing the coping a few times myself going for one foot stalls like that; it's an instant dismissal if you make a mistake :0 FYI, I've found USD carbons quite comfortable myself, it's personal foot shape specific comfort no doubt.

Sick skating! Can't wait for my next session after watching this. How's the injury coming along? Any good progress?
@BrandonDrummond2 жыл бұрын
I hope that session comes soon, thanks for watching! My injury comes and goes but it is way more manageable now. I can skate as much as I want as long as I don't do drops. Things are looking good. ❤️

@BrandonDrummond2 жыл бұрын
Cheers man. My feet are doing much better. They seem to flare up every so often but I can skate as much as I want now as long as I don't jump off anything too high. I hope you're doing well ❤️

Just got my first pair of aggressive inlines. Them 909’s. Tried them out yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed just skating around. Do you recommend putting the liners in the oven like I've seen in your other video or just let them mold naturally? Never owned skates before this so any tips are appreciated.
@BrandonDrummond2 жыл бұрын
That great to hear! The 909's are my favorite right now. The Liners I did that with are designed to be heat molded in the oven. The stock Them liners are not designed to be heat molded so don't put them in the oven. They should break in naturally. If your got the Intuition Thems like the Pat Ridder, then you can heat mold them. They will break in naturally but heat molding is meant to speed it up. Hopefully that makes sense 😅

Makes perfect sense. Thanks for the reply. Keep up the videos. Great inspiration.

ooooh pool coping poker face on point! Shits scary standard but yours sounds even less forgiving that normal :P
@BrandonDrummond2 жыл бұрын
My "grind" doesn't feel like a grind yet. It's like an air out where I slide my feet on the coping. Hopefully it leads to a real grind. It is still so scary! Pool coping is something else. I hope you're doing well man ❤️
