Freedom Stick Out of Sync

Sometimes when using program macros Freedom Sticks may be out of sync. Here's how you fix it. I am 100% comfortable with taking the risk of repairing my own freedom sticks so you should do so at your own discretion. This is a curious issue, I want to get four more freedoms sticks, I am now going to hold off. Has Chauvet responded to this problem?

A tech support person basically told me it was a firmware upgrade but not specifically what part of the stick I could change to fix it. Basically led to "hey buy the new freedom sticks". I'm pretty good at trouble shooting so I figured out it was the LED assembly. Like you I wanted more sticks but the LED13 tubes were created a couple of years after my first 8 sticks which are LED12. I didn't notice it until I let the program macros run for a while on all 16 sticks and half was slower plus one just had a macro issue itself. I will use tip money to systematically replace every tube that is on the LED 12 firmware. Only six more to go and all 16 will all be sinking in perfect time.

@@gfire_productions This Information on the firmware is helpful. I may roll the dice and get a 4four pack from Sweetwater. If they don't match (firmware), I can return them. Too bad Chauvet dropped the ball with this issue. This is something Chauvet should have a solid fix on. I will let you know which Firmware I have.
