@@andrewbob6266 so, these bikes are suzuki gsxrs, great sportbikes. they have an inline 4 engine (4cylinder) witch means that they dont have "alot" of power in lower rpms. Every engine has their specifity but in general if you are too low in rpms (imagine being at 50kmh in 6th gear and you try to accelerate) the bike will need some time to go up in rpms and deliver more power. On this video my guess is that the pov guy is not in the good rpms, not were the bike deliver the most power witch could explain why the other guy just flew away

@@andrewbob6266 to make it simple you need to understand what torque is and how it does work. imagine torque as "the force with whom you push". the torque increases proportionally as rpms go up, therefore when you open the gas, the higher your starting rpms are, the bigger the acceleration is.

As a native, I can assure you the roads aren't good. Very few roads in Greece are good enough in quality for you to race like a crazy person. In 9/10 roads, you go 200 kmh, hit a pothole so deep your wheel crumples, then get launched into your death. The rest are true though.

Personally I have never been on a bike before, but I sometimes drive my cars in this fashion. Whenever I see someone doing exactly this, I know what that person is going through, what is he feeling, and I know that I don't have to look in the mirror as much, and be chill. Because these people are absolutely locked in, 99% of their movements are automatic, subconcious and processed way faster than you can concieve. There is non-zero chance that they will react to a situation faster than you will even register it.
