We had an incredible time at Bamboo Gardens of Louisiana! Lee was an incredible teacher as we walked through his bamboo forest. With each step we learned more about bamboo but also what we might like to grow for our own enjoyment in the future.
Visit Lee at his website: www.bamboogarde...
Let him know we sent you!! :D

I live in Kaneohe oahu Hawaii and we have a giant native bamboo here called hula bamboo it’s light and dark and white streaks of color on it it’s beautiful and my back yard has one of the last standing bamboo patches alive that has been here before the annexation of our kingdom by America

Wow, he does know Bamboo, and he's such a pleasant person to listen to. I love Bamboo, we have it at my deceased FIL's memorial park. I use it for numerous things, from Tomato stakes, I hang bird feeders on some I've cut and hung up, I also use them to attach outside string lights. They're so many useful things to use them for, glad to have them as a wonderful tree also.

I love bamboo. Its beautiful and strong. It has so many benefits such as material to build structures to clothing and many other useful essential items even decorative. Its used as food and medicine. Its endless what bamboo can be used for, but it can be problematic if not cared for properly and end up your relentless enemy. Didn't Thomas Edison use fiber of bamboo for his light bulb filament? Even to light up the darkness back in the day!
