When you have a shitload of snakes you’re breeding you can’t keep them because you think they’re nice. Being a professional breeder means all your space is valuable and if you’re not breeding rats too feeding will get expensive. I think if you learn the genes you work with well enough you can tell the difference.

Can I just ask, do you agree with the breeding of Spiders?
@EquitySolutionRayRaz
@EquitySolutionRayRaz 3 жыл бұрын
@@karolinebeckett6944 I believe if you have a snake with neurological issues , there is a good chance the babies will carry these traits , so yes & no , but I have two female spider combos neither with this “ wobble” and actually paired my female Mona ( spider, OD, Mystery BEL gene ) with a lesser bamboo male and produced 7 amazing babies 5 which had spider and zero with any issues , but again I have a Champange female with somewhat of a wobble that someone sold to me early on in keeping BP’s and I wouldn’t pair her , just make her comfortable, she seems to of almost rid any wobble as she aged but still probably will never pair her , on the flip side I have another champagne female which produced twins last year !!!! Black pastel Champange twins !!! So many genes with issues , you have to work around them to an extent I believe , to try to create something happy and healthy for sure

I wanted to start my own breeding buisness, but things didn’t pan out (yet) so I rehomed all my BPs but one-my normal female, Mavis. I swear she acts like she has a human soul. That is the best snake; she is definitely a companion. But on the business side, she definitely is good to prove out males if I ever do get back into wanting to breed. By the way, give Brian K a kiss for me 😂

A snek is a snek at the end of the day. What does it matter if it's a special morph (unless its a spider gene, which has its own issues all together). It's still a noodle❤ also normal morph is so dang beautiful already why wouldn't you want that?

There are a lot of people breeding snakes and trying to or releasing "new genes" however have trouble showing the "new gene" without another gene influencing it. I suggest anyone trying to release a "new gene" for sale, show the "new gene" by it self not mixed with pastel, enchi, mojave, ect. And the best way to do that is by breeding your "new gene" to a normal breeder female.
