A wonderful video for a very fun looking aircraft! 70 kts is a bit below my ideal flight speed. Perfect for real life but a bit slow for me in the sim. Thanks for making such a lovely video about the Fox!

Excellent review of this wonderful aircraft. I will buy it on Friday 😄 I discovered Trent Palmers KZbin channel a couple of weeks ago and I have watched it every day since then. So entertaining and a lovley guy to follow. Looks like I discovered the Freedom Fox little to late when he has it for sale. I will still enjoy it in the sim. I have been flying got friends gravvel and carbon cub lately in Idaho country where Trent fly alot. What I have been missing is avionics. The Freedom fox looks like it checks all of my boxes with great avionics and wonderful visibility due to the glass doors. It looks like it performs like the other STOL planes I have been using lately 🙏 I can’t wait for bush flying in MSFS 2024💪

@@MagnusThornberg hey many thanks, and the great thing is since this video released they have continued to update it so you can fly the Fox2 with a TDS GTNxi 750 if you want and there is also a steam gauge version for people like me that prefer old school instruments rather than glass cockpit.

@@Dreamsofwings that’s really cool 🙏 I love that they give us all the choice✌️if you haven’t been flying in Idaho you really need to. Start at Lower Loon Creek and fly through the canyons to nearby airstrips. Very fun approaches and challenging. I tried it with a 172 Skyhawk and was not possible 😂 the stall warning was beeping the whole time and the aircraft felt so underpowered.

@@Dreamsofwings if you are interested in scenery add on for Idaho bush exploring the Orbx’s ‘Not So Deadly 3 and Deadly 3 looks nice. The airstrips are many of them Trent Palmer and his flying friends visit a lot.

The Bush League Legends group has had some as well as the Bushrats group. Wouldn't surprise me if the Bushdivers group have done some as well. An actual version of the High Sierra Stol drags or Arkanstol brought in by Asobo like the Reno air races would be pretty awesome.

how do you trim the aircraft in real life in this plane? is it on the stick or?

I seem to remember in this particular one it is controlled by the hat switch on top of the stick.

You should be able to turn them on using the avionics switch on the lower left of the panel. If this isn’t working might be worth you checking in on their Discord as could be a tech issue.

Yes at the moment it comes up with a notebook on the passenger seat that has a list of credits. I imagine very soon it will provide other cool things!

Not flown Fox 2 yet but it has same avionics as FreedomFox as far as I am aware.

I think it depends on what you are into. I think for some the Skypark is probably quite useful and gives them a real purpose to fly plus future developments. It wouldn't surprise me if we see some FreedomFox events coming into it.

@@Dreamsofwings It not a 'bad' add-on, intrinsically. It's just had next to no updates (at least meaningful ones) and isn't cheap for what it is. It just looks pretty. NeoFly absolutely destroys it in almost every way.

@@Stwutter1973 I like Skypark and NF .. slightly different user experiences .. but when NF release their new UI early in 2022 //42’s Skypark needs to be very nervous! 😉

@@S0L0D0G I agree that the UI is where NF lags a bit - but that's it IMO - it just offers so much more depth. You can also use it free, and it still gives you more than SkyPark - and the add-ons/updates are frequent. The dev. is a great guy too.
