A note about the star wars thing that I'm sure no one will read. I've been a star wars fan since I was a kid (mid twenties now) and it's a war in this fandom. Obviously because of Disney, but I don't want to sound like a 'disney bad' fan. A lot of their stuff is good, when its made by the right producers/writers/directors. The problem is those higher up in disney that decided they would market all their properties, including star wars, to a woke audience. They're angry not because of that, but because something like 26 states will now ban or severely restrict abortion. I'm a conservative who is pro-choice and pro life all for different reasons than the regular arguments from either side. I'm pro choice for special circumstances, and pro life because I think why should we abort 1 million babies a year, then have 1 million immigrants per year enter the country? Why throw out your sugar only to ask your neighbor for some. I don't think abortion should be the top product sold at clinics, I think it should be strongly discouraged, and I think funding and oversight should be increased for orphanages, make it easier to give up babies and adopt them.

@@ih82r8 Well said. I'd like to add that if a state should choose to help it's citizens out by allowing and funding in some way planned parenthood and abortion, they could. That's all this judgement does. It basically says the federal government has no jurisdiction over abortion and it is now in the hands of the states and their legislatures to decide what happens for their people.

Not getting a vasectomy reminds me of when my wife was pregnant with our first born. Her parents, devout Democrats, wanted me to get a vasectomy and give our son up for adoption before he was even born. My wife did get her tubes tied, but only after our daughter came out and my wife almost bled to death. Doctor said there was a great chance she could bleed to death the next time around.

After I married my wife, they handed me all her history like medical, school, etc. I saw through the school records that my new wife had been tested as having an IQ of 68. The written plan between my in laws and the school was for their daughter to graduate Special Ed in high school and then be placed in an independent living facility for the rest of her life. She never graduated Special Ed in high school and then met me. I treat her like an adult. They always treated her like a little kid.

They are reversable to some extend. It's not always just snip and done, sometimes it's done with cauterization. And you can't really restore burnt flesh. Time is also an important factor. The longer your wait, the longer the risk of infertility rises.
