Related to that topic, I also hate how some people think we need to "be more open about periods." Some feminists have been pushing that as a thing and a few kids shows I've seen have brought up periods in some attempt to make a point out of it. That's just unnecessary. Everyone knows how it works. Isn't that the whole point of saying "it's an emergency" when asking to use the restroom? Girls always had extra leeway when asking that and I thought the reason was painfully obvious. Parents just need to inform their daughters about it so they don't think they're dying. And sons should probably get a talk too so they don't make an ass of themselves. Middle school boys are notorious for saying stupid stuff about stuff like this, but you'll never catch a grown man saying crap like that... Because we know how periods work.

Just take a look at all the whites exposed around HIS irises, because multiple psychological studies have been published that correlate the direct connections between psychopathy and over exposed sclera to UV light; it’s a pretty good signifier…… You know, if we hadn’t already been made fully aware of this person’s mental illness/illnesses by the “fact” that he believes he’s a woman. 😂😂😂
@gamera516011 ай бұрын
I was aware of the trans thing before it became a trend and before this became the weird "cool" thing to do, trans men and women were not publicly discussing their "periods". Most of them wanted to pass and not draw attention to themselves. They wanted to be "normal" and accepted. Now these trans-trenders are deliberately acting in defiance of gender norms, instead of trying to adhere to them without drawing negative attention to themselves.

@@PatrickKnieslerit’s also a bad idea because left over cordite as well as (if the victim is wearing clothing when shot) bits of fabric and whatever types of bacteria germs ect that can get into the wound. I've got a fairly deep voice and I learned to do a pretty decent girl voice as part of a Monster of the Week campaign I ran. The thing a lot of these guys get wrong is that they think a girl voice is about making your voice high. It's much more about vocal posture and what you may call a 'female accent' . Dr. Cindy Stacey's voice isn't any higher than mine, but it is completely distinct, and sounds much more feminine. Thing is, it takes a lot of work and practice to make it believable, and they arent going to put that kinda work in for what is, to them, a fashion statement.
@stingingcake85311 ай бұрын
That actually makes a lot of sense. I've noticed that if I can match the cadence while doing an impression, it actually sounds more like the person than if I try to match other aspects of it (like pitch).
@Saydie24611 ай бұрын
As a younger woman with a deeper natural voice, their idea of higher=feminine always bugged the tar out of me. It's one of their many insulting caricatures of women, yet we're not allowed to be offended because it 'invalidates their experience'.

6:00 Well, I do know one woman, who has, from time to time, said how glad she was to have her period. Specifically, she has said this during Ramadan. As a Muslim woman, she's allowed to eat despite the fast, if she is on her period. So she has mentioned how much she looks forward to her period during Ramadan, and how glad she is KFC delivers.

The other students knew not to mess with me and my bros. We were the punk-rock goth delinquents at our boarding school except our rule was thus "Do no harm unless harm comes your way. Start no fight, unless a fight comes for you." We were used to making sure no other group touched us, because people at that place felt a constant need to mess with us. You either came to us because you were in our group, or you didn't understand who we were and got course corrected REAL QUICK. Thank gods I grew up in an era before the "Toon" PC era exploded post 2010. We didnt support delusions of grandeur either.

@@jimbo9305 more importantly, “period” is just a nickname for a menstrual cycle. If you don’t bleed, you don’t have a period. If you don’t even have your own uterus, you not only don’t have a period, but you can’t have a period ever. Why are these people so dense?
