Freedoom in Doom is a Doom mod created by GuyNamedErick that, basically, brings graphic and sound resources from Freedoom to the original classic Dooms’ maps. This WAD also aims to be compatible with several of the advanced engines built for the id Software’s iconic first person shooter.
In addition to the sprites, textures, music, screens, texts, HUD and sounds, Freedoom in Doom doesn’t feature any other type of modifications. It is better suited to be combined with the original levels, since the original Freedoom is a more proper choice, if you want to load custom maps.
The PWAD should work in practically any port, since Chocolate Doom to GZDoom. There are patches that makes it work with any registered IWAD. I tested it here on GZDoom (1.8.2 and 3.5.0), Zandronum (2.0 and 3.0), 3DGE 2.1.0, ZDoom 2.8.1 and Chocolate Doom 2.2.1.
