FREEFLY MOVI PRO....Is it the best or simply overkill?

I said this in my intro but it is the smoothest gimbal i've ever used but the biggest issue I have with this gimbal is transporting it and taking it abroad can sometimes be a mission. let me know your thoughts and if it's something you would use, Ali

Hey, nice video. Does the movi pro have the same modes as the crane gimbals? Like follow , lock and pf? And also , if there is, is there a switch (like a thumb switch/ trigger) to change the modes?

Nice! I've been looking at getting the C300 Mark iii or C500 Mark ii and eyeing this gimbal. But oof the price tag on all that gear and the weight might be too much. I'm not a big dude so maybe I need to stick with my P4K and Zhiyun 3 Lab. 🤔

Thanks mate. That's a good call tbf, one of the biggest cons is the weight and bulk of the setup. I'd imagine the P4K is a very light camera

Great vid man! Subscribed! ... How different in terms of stability do you think the pro is to the M5? I've tried Ronins, Zhiyuns and Movi, but not the latest generation Ronin RS or Crane 3 and would be interested to hear your thoughts going from the M5 to the pro in terms of stability, not just payload. Hey Joe! thanks for the sub appreciate that mate. Stability is almost identical but the M5 is much lighter so you won't feel the fatigue as quick as the movi pro. I've tried all other gimbals ronins, zhiyuns, mozas etc and the MOVI still is the best from my experience. If you can afford it go for it just be aware of the size/weight as it will affect portability/travel with it. I had to invest in an easy rig eventually as it was simply too heavy to operate for long hours. Ali

I've found it much slower to work with in terms of movement. Naturally feel heavier when moving so not ideal to run with. Also there is a height limit with the easy rig. I'm planning to make a video about this soon. How long you can shoot with depends on how heavy the rig is

Hey Prabhat its finally out haha! no stabilisation in post but there is one shot with the 24-70 which does lens stabilisation

I gave up the big rigs after the Ronin M with a ring and Canon cinema cameras (3 hernias later). Now I use the Ronin S, smaller cams, a flag pole holder on my belt and transport is a lot better.
