Wow, this video is amazing. This is the best "Psychedelic" liquid light video I've seen so far. Reminds me of those liquid shows from concerts back in the late 60s. Some really cool stuff

It´s really nice that youre giving this for free, it looks amazing, really cool colors and good quality. one of the best liquid light show i´ve seen on the internet.
@universoulightforms10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your appreciation... The liquids are authentic in that they are exactly like the liquids I projected on the walls in the great San Francisco Dance Halls of the late 1960's as Brotherhood Of Light.
@universoulightforms11 жыл бұрын
I do plan on making a "how to" video about the liquids and how to make them as well as other aspects of lightshow art...the thing is that I first want to show people some amazing effects, that we can discover together and later learn how it all was made... I am highly motivated by my love for this artform and will share my knowledge... It's never been a secret.

Did you ever make this how to video?! I want to know how you got the colors to come out so vivid but with a dark background. I look forward to more content!

@@gramfarmer Hi Graham, I hope to make a video sometime that shows how I make and process liquids into fine imagery but first I have to create and develop more of the art in the first place. It's just going to take more time. Decades in the making.

Absolutely stunning work! This is an art form that almost got lost underneath all the high powered techno-lighting the past 35 years or so. You can taste those original 60's shows within this 21st century take...keep up the great work and thanks for being generous, a quality sorely lacking in most parts of this world...and to Bob, I was in one of the bands BOL did at the Avalon in 1968...Crystal Syphon! Keep tweaking the photons!!

eleni93003 Thank You for the opportunity to explain... This video was first editited in 2006 in standard definition. I recently re-edited the original HD footage into the 2015 HD version in which I preferred a different mix of the imagery for artistic reasons... to accent cooperation rather than competition on the screen. Sincerely, Bob.

So I did a bunch of research about performing a show and some people said that you needed oil-based dye to color the mineral oil and food coloring to color the water. If you're just using mineral oil, alcohol, and food coloring, how do you prevent the colors from mixing? Thanks alot!

I believe we used DivX as the codec, you may need to install it. I don't have the original uncompressed file or I would release it as a newer standard H.264 which most programs can work with. I could convert this AVI however there would be an additional loss of quality.

"Free Form Liquid 001" is made from two hours of liquid video which was superimposed over itself in an old "Premiere" movie making program to make a sixty minute single layer with two images... Much more depth is achieved with multiple projectors simultaneously interacting.
