You really need those 4 bolts in the fork. That's why your brakes don't align. You are not supposed to tighten the axle bolts too much. That piece of the fork is like a clamp around the axle. Now you push the clamp open by tighten the axle bolts, without the 4 bolts, 2 on each side, in place.

Great video. In sport mode with throttle only, what is the range? How well does it accelerate on steep hills from a stop in sport mode?

If you want a cheap excellent cruiser with good speed and good uphill power get a Freego F3pro. I love mine for road use only. If you want to go off-road get a Surron or something similar.

Great vid, appreciate the in depth review. 6:09 - Is the battery UL certified? I emailed Freego, and they said the bike is not, but a customer on Reddit claimed their battery had a UL cert sticker (maybe it's more of a 28mph sticker type of thing though haha)

UL as well as ISO certifications actually mean nothing to anyone other than a scam supported by many states as a means to extract more money for nothing for a certification states often require in order to sell, but in truth the private companies that perform these certifications and the states the force complaience is really just a big SCAM. it's all about the money, they could care less about safety.

Hey do you have your manual? Can you check it to see if mentions needing to leave battery on when charging. Some youtube commenter said you need to leave the battery switch on when charging or the bms won't be on and it will just keep charging after full and destroy the battery etc. That a huge safety hazard so no way that's the case but can you check manual

Was that on the “E-bike dad” channel? He responded saying he charged it both ways and it didn’t make a difference. The manual didn’t say anything about leaving it on. You could always email freego.

Just curious about how stable everything is on the bike? Sounds super noisy especially off road. Lots of rattles and sounds not even talking about the brakes yet.

Yeah that’s the chain and derailleur slapping around. Some people just take the chain off, but at that point you might as well just buy a surron, talaria etc…

Look up ‘insta 360 go 3s’ on KZbin. Didn’t want a go pro because of the overheating issues. The go 3s has been great and it has a detachable magnetic camera so you stick it to random metal objects for a different point of view.

Most current laws state that e bikes need to 1. Have functional pedals 2. Go no faster than 28 mph and 3. Be under 1,000 watts. Anything more than that is off road only.

I have 4500 miles on the first generation of this bike. Geometry a little weird but other than that no complaints absolutely love it It's no where near my 250yz but I haven't pulled out my yz ever since I got this. I'm a cruiser explorer dirt bike rider not a jumper so it's perfect for me. I live in the Sierra Nevada's and I can go anywhere no trails or deer trails no problem X20 is on sell for 1300$ shipping included on Amazon and new egg. Everything I wanted upgraded on the first generation they fixed on the new one ( more rear suspension travel and more power ) IDK if this helps anyone just giving my experience on the X20 first gen

The EKX x21 has a few different models. There is even a predecessor, the EKX X20. The “Max” variant of the X21 is their 3000w model. There are some eastern European KZbinrs that have them.

You are correct. It has 3,000 watts (6,000 peak). A surron light bee has 3,500 watts (6,000 peak). The freego costs $2400. The surron costs twice that. Obviously the surron is going to be a better bike, but you can’t legally ride it on the street. For the money the freego is a good option. That’s all I’m sayin

Actually for the money it’s pretty spot on. It’s half the price of an eride pro and plenty of power to climb hills and do wheelies. Obviously eride, surron, or talaria are objectively better and more powerful bikes (not necessarily faster) but for someone who doesn’t want to spend almost $5000 it’s a great option. Appreciate your input though!

Sam ex FBI agent Erik Jerry Godtlinsen is trying to "clearance" me on my P51 by hiring Richland police and a guy named Eric who usta work under the table for Earl the Squirrel doing auto body. They whip out in front of me then jam on the brakes with brake light fuse half way pulled out. I'm waiting on my X2 wich uis delayed due to "barcode replacement" probably putting GPS on it. Anyway if I'm wrecked it wasn't an accident, hope you never come near my bike with your grinder, not for fine tuning.
