Thanks for making a really great video. My bike is due to show up here one week from today. I got it on Amazon. I was going to get the extended warranty for 2 years but I started checking into it and it just seemed like it was from a different company and I didn't think I trusted it. So hopefully I won't have a problem. I checked the other day I still could get the warranty but I don't think I really want to mess with it.

Can't wait to add this bike to my collection. I ordered it 2 weeks ago, so hopefully I won't have to wait to long. It also looks like I'll be receiving version 2. I don't see any info on the website about the differences between v1 and v2, but I'm glad they're fixing any issues.

Great informative video.. One question.,,Is this bike NOT okay to use in the rain.?… Keep up the good work 👌
@E_bikeDad5 күн бұрын
The motor is sealed so you could technically ride in the rain. But electronics and water never mix well so I’m not chancing it.

Good to know, as I’ve just purchased one, and waiting for delivery 🚚, but forgot to look 🫣 into that pretty important bit of technical info.!!. And I live in Manchester, England 🏴… it’s sort of wet 💦 here even when it’s not.😲🙃😆,, Ah well, looks like I’ll have to do a little bit of after market weather proofing just to be on the safe side.. Thanks for your reply though.👌👍

thanks for this. hardly anyone has these yet still and this covers alot. im still in the air between this and the talaria xxx i know its a big price difference but the hub motor to mid drive is the biggest thing. would you say this hub motor has alot of torque as well and i understand you mentioned you cant wheelie but does it feel powerful enough to be able to?
@E_bikeDad9 күн бұрын
@@joshfosho I think it has enough to wheelie, but not as easy as the bigger bikes. You definitely have to help it with a good preload. The problem is as the battery declines. You definitely don’t have the energy to get that front wheel up. I’m working on my next edit where I did a full rundown. You seen that video I talk about how the front end won’t come up at about the 50% mark. if you’re looking for something to go little faster and have a little more power than a regular bike that everyone else has also kind of cool. This is a good one. But if you want the range with the bigger one. I got this one because it can paddle under its own power in my state if eBay goes over 28 it’s considered a moped by law. You don’t have to get a motorcycle license, but you have to get a moped tag which is basically a small license plate. But mine can operate with petals. It falls in Gray area.
@joshfosho9 күн бұрын
@@E_bikeDad yeah the pedals and looks of this one are what really got me but as you mention I have seen that about the power and I definitely would prefer a bit more but still. Great info and will keep in consideration as well

I also hate the seat. It’s uncomfortable and angles forward so you’re constantly pushing against the handlebars to stay back on the seat. Wears out the shoulders after a long ride
@E_bikeDad9 күн бұрын
I think the seat would be an easy fix for the company if they just made it come out closer to the battery and thicker on that end too. I’m thinking about bringing it to a local car upholstery shop and getting them to make the adjustments for me.
@Sam_splatter9 күн бұрын
@@E_bikeDad yeah they kinda screwed up with that one. I’m thinking of even getting a shorter rear shock to bring the seat down a tad. Nice video. I’ve made a few vids on this bike as well. Great tip on the front brake. I ended up getting the angle grinder out for mine 😂

Dude, I’m just noticing your profile. I definitely watched all your videos on the bike. I’m sorry to hear about the crash you had. It made me think about possibly getting some extra parts to have on hand. I’m about to release the one I made on my top speeding range findings. It came out kind of like an ADHD edit. I was trying to get as much riding in before the hurricane passes in my area.

Do you know if it’s water resistant? I ordered one but not sure if I can ride in the rain.
@E_bikeDad3 күн бұрын
I’ve seen a lot of stuff on the Internet Internet, not this bike in particular but we’re just talking electric bikes in general and I’ve seen a Suran go through a creek three times and still operate. I’d say if it starts raining while you’re riding, you might be OK. Worry about the battery connection at the bottom because this bike has the battery connection on the bottom instead of the top. Most of the other batteries have a connection on the top and that’s where I think you would get a short. I’m not brave enough to ride in the rain. I did get caught when it was raining and I just pulled under a gas station cover once it stopped. I took off riding again.

@E_bikeDad2 күн бұрын
@@LennoxAllen-tf1xs if there is, I don’t know which wire it is. On the Shawn someone had to leak that info that the wire was there and how to find it. I haven’t pulled all the wiring apart and trace them back yet to know if that exists. But most likely it’s programmed into the controller.
