As mentioned, this ship is named after Queen Maud of Norway. If you care about fashion at all, I HIGHLY recommend looking up her wardrobe. Much of it is in museum collections, and all of it is stunning.

One would have thought that the governments involved would have contributed in some manner in order to make this happen in a timely fashion, and with less risk of loss of life. Because one man doing all the dive work by himself is very foolhardy thing, and things could have very easily gone wrong for him. As for the team they deserve everyone's appreciation, and support for giving so much of their lives to perform this great task with just the three of them doing everything that had to be done. I honestly don't know of anything of this size that has been done with so small a team, typically there's many times more people involved in such a monumental expedition as this. Especially one as tied to the history of a country, scientific research as the ship and her crew were. May they're journey home be safe, and return with her intact along with all the artifacts discovered.
