Hello Elna, right now I feel overwhelmed with information on how to make a living with freelance writing. This always seem to be my issue. It's hard to focus on one solid tip passed finding your Niche. I have a coupe niches already pinned down, and I have blogs that are sadly not up to date. But where do I go from here?

Yes, there is a lot of info about freelance writing all over the place. My suggestion is to pick one person to follow. It doesn't have to be me, but it would be nice :-) Sign up to their newsletter (I have a free 6 day course for new writers) and reach out to them like you have with me! Once you have niche ideas then it's time to create samples. Publish those samples on LI or Medium. From there you can now start pitching by checking job boards! My playlists walk you through this process too!

I need a portfolio to pitch but I need experience to have a portfolio... I hate this cycle.

You can use Medium if you want for your portfolio or find your blog posts to see if they are good for writing samples! I know it's a big cycle but focus on writing samples and THEN pitching!

Well, I for sure have #'s 1-6 so that's good. I may have to invest in Buzzsumo since I've met my monthly free quota. Great video- thank you for walking us through and making things not so overwhelming. I always find useful info from every video/post/tweet you do.

Thank you Elna! Very helpful as always. I have already set up my Wordpress around 2 weeks ago, but the problem is google still cannot search my website. Is this because I haven't put up any good articles there yet?

Probably! Give Google a good 6 months to crawl your site and make sure you have pages and blog posts for Google to crawl.
