If the carbon tax is effective and is costing Canadians to pollute, then it is punishing those that cannot afford to invest in their own energy production the most, and is a regressive tax penalizing people for surviving, and as such should be repealed. In either case, the carbon tax serves no purpose other than to take from those who worked hard for it, in order to make their lives more difficult.

Freeland started reading a newspaper in Question Period on October 3, 2023. First off, that’s considered a prop, which is not allowed. She knew better. Second, the timing was intentional based on how she did it. She wanted to convey a message using the headline of the paper. It worked. Here’s what she did. She waited until Trudeau got up to speak, knowing the camera would have her in full view along with him. There were hard questions being raised just prior to this about immigration, housing, cost of living, as well as higher food costs. The liberals had been getting hammered about these things in the previous days also, and were not handling the accountability questions well. They were on the defensive. So Freeland was expecting more of the same kind of questions demanding Liberal answers. When the time was right, Freeland purposefully made sure the Business page of the newspaper fully visible for the camera to see. This story had most of the entire page devoted to it. What did the newspaper say? “No rest for the Retired” Imagine the arrogance of displaying such a message in Parliament during time when people were rightly worried about such troublesome concerns. She was sending a message to everyone to see. Jump ahead to the present day, and lo and behold, here we are. She was right. There is “No Rest For The Retired”. Or anyone else either. What a wonderful Meme. Vote them all out.
