Top tip Matt: Dog hair comes out of carpet with rubber washing-up gloves. Works just as well as purpose-made tools - just drag the your gloved hand across the carpet and hoover up the ball of fur that collects. Use a little water on the gloves to stop them getting rug burn and ripping into holes. Source: I used to run my own mobile valeting/detailing service.

Great to have so many videos recently. I find that a steam cleaner is much better at removing window tint. Once you have started on a corner you can concentrate the steam on the area that you are peeling off right between the tint and the glass. You can usually take the whole thing off in one go.

Use a stuff called "sticky stuff remover" not a wynd up it is the actual name of the product. It's a liquid you apply it liberally to the residue and after 5 mins wait you rub/wipe it off. I may not be correct, but it was my understanding that the boot strut was supposed to be that way, having to be opened half way before having to be pushed further for it to extend fully and that it was so that if you were parked against a wall or a car had parked close behind you and you wanted to open the boot it didn't swing wide open and smash into that wall / car. (Tbh it has certainly been useful to me in tight spaces even if I am wrong!) That new strut is certainly very powerful though! I can imagine that heat gun will absolutely demolish batteries too, heat generation consumes a heck of a lot of energy!
