This is just one example of our many Malaysian neighbours , schoolmates & colleagues that came from mixed parentages that made Malaysia unique , as most of Malaysians are not really came from one ethnic or believe group , we are descendants of Malaya , Dutch , Portuguese , English , Europeans , Ancient India , Ancient Middle Kingdom of China , Raja Pahit of Indonesia , Old Siam , Burmese , Arabs , Pakistan , & from other Islandic inhabitants that flourished just nicely in the right amount to make-up & united together to build-up the modern cosmopolitan Malaysia we have today!

Everything is very laid back over there in Terengganu isn't it? Very laid back people. The people, the culture, the place, environment, surrounding, vibe etc. That's what drawn white people or Mat Salleh to go there and settle there. Ask Mat Dan. People don't seem to rush to do something or to go anywhere. They take their time. Their own sweet time to do anything. Sometimes a little over too long I suppose. There is no dateline to chase. No need to rush. Relax and chill 24/7. As compared to city centres such as KL or Singapore where people always seem in a hurry. Dashing from one place to another while having their meal in between. It takes a toll on their physical and mental health
