Yeah I’ve been trying to find more 3/4 pants, might just go get more track pants or something. And this is very nice to see. Personalky it’s my knees that I need to cover during school (school uniform pants go above the knees, but there are long pants version, but I don’ really want to get my parents buying new uniform pants since their expensive so perhaps I’ll go with thermale pants combination too)

If you are talking about short sleeve shirts, then that's ok to wear. You have to cover your shoulders though. You have to also cover your awrah, as the video mentioned.

No since they cover what is required for you to cover. I remember the Sheikh would always say to dress well when going to the mosque whether you are a man or a woman. Usually plain t-shirts are much better than wearing ones with faces on them and I don't think skinny jeans are appropriate either since they are too tight.

@@towsifrahman No. The man's awra is as explained in the video between the naval and the knee. So according to the Sharia wearing a short sleeved shirt is ok. But I (personally) don't think one would go to a place of importance wearing regular clothes or showing the chest..etc. So yeah you can wear a tshirt, but evaluate whether it is ok to wear it for friday prayers or Eid since we should be looking our best in those days. When going to God's house we should should dress well and follow the Sunnah. The scholars also encourage that. What dressing well means different things in different cultures. Most of it I learned at school, so I really don't have any books to recommend. But you can yt search dress code for muslim men and listen to what the Sheikhs say. And read about the prophet's sunnah in what he wore.

This is why Muslims are stuck in the medieval ages. We care too much about petty, insignificant issues. We're too busy policing each other on clothing. Meanwhile, non-Muslims are out there making the technology we all use daily. Non-Muslims are out there making the film, music, and print media the world consumes daily. Non-Muslims are out there actually shaping the world. Muslims are too busy debating whether certain clothes are halal or not while war and rape run rampart in their countries.

Let’s not forget that Muslims started nearly most of the technology we have today. Don’t think they can up with something now, they are innovating yes. I agree with you but unfortunately there are many things you have to have over what you just said, which is self respect, making your prayer acceptable, respecting yourself, etc.. At the end these are the things that you will matter in the hereafter not the technology, although it is important. I agree with you but I believe that these are very important topics that can never be neglected.

Exposing the awrah doesn't mean just having no clothes on it. Wearing tight clothes is exposing because the shape of the thigh/private parts are clear.

Ryu Jin it is required for a muslim man to cover his awrah, just like the muslim woman. In the man‘s case, his awrah includes everything between the navel and the knees. So in order to dress according to our teachings, you need to wear something that coveres said area (between navel and knees). Also, regarding lower garments i. e. pants, they should not cover a man‘s ankles. As far as I know, it is at least preferable to wear clothings that do not show the shape of your body (it‘s better not to wear tight pants)
