“Satook,” directed by praCh Ly, examines the transformation of religious traditions in Cambodian American communities through the ruptures of war and immigration. The film centers on four intimate conversations with survivors and the diaspora of the Khmer Rouge genocide, who share their personal experiences and memories of their parents, and reflect on their communities and journeys of belief. The film also examines the contemporary meanings of ancient sacred sites in Cambodia and considers more broadly the diversity and complexities of religion in four different locations in the United States.
Satook will be featured as part of the new exhibition "Revealing Krishna: Journey to Cambodia’s Sacred Mountain" from April 30-September 18, 2022.

"Preah" is whoever you want to be?" WTH?? Bhudism was NEVER a religion. Buddhism=Biggest Scam in the world! It was just a philosophy created by an Indian prince named Siddhartha Gautama...which later on got exaggerated by a bunch of SCAM artists that came up with rules (who else did it?). Think outside of the box people, just for a moment...being a monk is a GREAT way to do absolutely NOTHING. A great way to retire. You don't have to work. You get FREE food, Money, place to stay, iPad, iPhone (which they should NEVER get that in the first place---worldly possessions). Why would they want to go back to living with the rest of us who are working our asses off every day.

Just so you know, without Buddhism Cambodia wouldn't exist until today. Cambodia wouldn't be able to smile after the mass killing. Wither Buddhism is a religious or not. It does matter for us, because what, everyday I can see Religious is kind of a course of Human existence.

@@alezovannjanrasmey5463 No my brother, that is an incorrect statement. The country has evolved from various religions/beliefs over many generations and it will continue to evolve. Buddhism is a SCAM! Think outside of your box for a moment and don't let bias be your guide.
