I have the same bikes that you are showing and its a BEAST !!!!! fast, strong, comfort (Im 6'2), I add rack,cargo bag, mirrors, 2 actions cams (rear,front) and a strong and High lumens rear lights, I really love this bike and brand !!! ohhh I was forget mention, I got a helmet because I only I have one brain 😆😆... Another great honest review. I have been watching your videos for awhile now and see you have reviewed many 26 x 4 E bikes. I have a couple of E bikes now but no 26 x 4 models. If you had to choose one 26 x 4 that you have tested, which one would it be? Thanks in advance.

That is an extremely hard question. Before I can answer that, Aventon just came out with the Aventure 2 (which I should have in a week or so) so I am going to have to hold off on that answer until I review that. But there is something unique about each one that I have tried, and I also think it would depend on your budget. Some bikes are better valued than others.

You shouldn't have any issues at all. Although no fenders might not be ideal if that is what you are doing with it. I would get some aftermarket fenders for it.

Freesky must have watched your video and took your advice because, the slightly redesigned Freesky Himalaya for 2024. It now has a shorter front suspension fork which allows one to turn the front wheel at a sharper angle than before, and the brakes have 180 mm rotors instead of 160 mm rotors.

been looking into getting a e-bike but finding they are not for shorter people (5’2) and no reviews mention if a shorter person could get away with using them or what options are available. i’m finding there are no mountain bike style for short people, unfortunately where I am there are no stores that i can go try out, and don’t want to order one to find i can not ride it. what is your thoughts on this would a shorter person be able to ride this bike

Hmmmm... I think that is a touch situation. These 26" fat tire bikes are big. I know a bike like this can be purchased on Amazon. Maybe order it, keep the box and see if it works. If not, you can box it back up and return it. It's not the ideal situation for sure, but it's an option. I would also be looking for a step thru as well.

Im looking at the Swift Horse model but its somehow locked at 20mph on the throttle... any ideas on how to unlock the speed?

There is always a way, Contact Freesky and they will tell you how to unlock it.

I feel secure about the battery setup. Even on the most expensive emtb (I consider those real mountain bikes) the battery attaches at the bottom. I have zero fear that debris will cause issues with it.

I wish I could give you an answer on that. This is a big bike and the seat goes up pretty far, but I can't say for sure.

Most all thumb throttles are in the left side. Usually not enough room to put one on the right side with the shifting apparatus mounted there, especially with trigger shifters. Twist throttle no problem on the right side.

You saw me on film go faster than 20 in the video. I am also pretty sure I said I unlocked it. Fell free to unsubscribe, then figure out how to unlock the bike. It's been awhile since I made this video, but many bikes go faster than 20 using the throttle only. If I did in the video, that means it can do it, I did NOT do it in the video, that means it doesn't.

Just put a 180mm rotor on the front. Cheap and easy to do. Back tire already locks up no problem so no need for stronger rear brake. Most of your breaking power comes from the front tire.
