How soothing are these walking sounds!! I just wanted to say that I think your horse-related ASMR videos are so great and soothing. I love horses and I think that they are such therapeutic animals but I don't really have access to even being around them right now (or any animals tbh). I've been missing especially horses a lot lately, probably because of stress, and your videos with your horses cheer me up so much! I love how you are so down-to-earth with them. You really enjoy being around them and they are your friends and not just some "tools" to accomplish trophies and compete with or something. I really like your energy and hope you keep it up! Also - I notice that in all your videos you are riding Z - do you ever ride the other one too?

Hi Iida! Thanks for the nice comment, I really appreciate that. I do switch off and ride Raina as well, but I'm not as coordinated in the western saddle that she is comfortable with, lol so I usually record only when I ride Z. We have a longer partnership so I can be more casual when I ride her. Raina still needs my full attention, but she's so good and dependable too.

This is beautiful! I studied in equine assistance therapy! But ended up in a horrible accident and haven't had the confidence to go anywhere near a horse! But the sounds of this video have put a massive smile on my face! Plus the asmr is very strong! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful video! X

I really am not enjoying my professional life of late and have feelings of wanting to escape and roam and be free. My stress is very high and I can't sleep very well, I dread my days. Ah, I do feel you! I'm hoping that you'll find a way to take a break and spend some time in nature for real. My professional life created a lot of stress for me, too and after many years, I had to walk away even though it involved lots of compromises. Even then, it took months for me to really let go and stop feeling the pull of the rat race. I hope that my relaxing videos are just one of the things that help you. Be good to yourself when you can, have a meditation to calm and focus yourself and then ask, what can I do to feel better....one moment at a time. Your spirit is always ready to help. Big hugs!

Hi! Well this one I made with the in ear microphones, Rolands, which plug into the zoom recorder in my pocket. I could hear exactly when the wind hit my ears, so I could turn a bit and keep it as low as possible and it was a pretty light breeze that day. If I only use the camera audio, sometimes I have to edit the volume very low or remove it altogether and just record a narration and add it in editing. Yes, I often camp alone or just with a friend and feel safe. I'm careful about where I go but I've always hiked, backpacked and ridden horses alone, so it's something I like to do. Maybe you and Rori can come join me next time I get out to Joshua Tree!
