For me the most important is you are recycling tires and making a good use of it, it's heavy duty, saving the planet. Make sure no water is still inside tires make holes on all tires specially at bottom so there is no production of mosquitos. Thank you for recycling.

thank you for this video. I used the mud technique and it helped me alot. I struggled screwing the bolts tight because my wrench does not have the extension attached but I managed to do a good job. I didn't include the ropes inside the bag but I may take off a few tires and reach down inside and attach them for more stability. I also didn't manage to get an XL size tire for the base, but I do have bricks, but since it's a smaller tire it cannot fit as many as yours, and I will need more weight inside, but, for a DIY bag, I cannot complain and can't wait to use it.. for now, I need a rest!

This is great, and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! As for making the holes line up, why not use a piece of illustration board (or any large piece of cardboard) to make a template. I think this will be quicker and less error prone. I will experiment with this method. Also, I plan to wrap the whole structure with a piece of tarpaulin in order to make a smoother surface. I think this will cause less damage to my gloves/hands.
4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think your idea is good too. Talking about the gloves, I don't use my new boxing gloves for this punching bag, I use my old and already damaged gloves
@ryankabcenel9700

Tarp will rip easily between the tires and gloves. Wrap it in a canvas painter's drop cloth. Coat the back of the canvas with an epoxy before wrapping, then run self tapping screws up top to help hold it up so its own weight doesn't make it peel, and if you want tie some jute cord around it everywhere two tires meet. Should last you years and is weather resistant
@acreswapper
@acreswapper 3 жыл бұрын
why not just stack each tire then drill through both at the same time? then they are sure to line up.

If using for the striking surface, that will be very tough on your striking limb. If using for the base, it may create too much distance from the tires you strike. Best way is to try it, though.
