Freestyle Cajon Playing

This is a video of me jamming out on a cajon! It is very free-form/quick-change, but I decided to leave it like that. I mean, why not? It's my solo! I just hit record and let whatever happen, happen. Enjoy!
6/27/18 update: I just noticed it made it to 500,000 views! I think to celebrate I will try and upload a new video on 8/10/18(5-year anniversary of video) because although I do not regularly play cajon, I am way better now than in this video from my 1st day of playing cajon!

I constantly play rhythms on what ever surface I can find, table, chair, myself, so the fact that there are too many drummers in my college class means that I try to get on the cajon as much as possible. Miss doing practical sessions :(

To people bitching about the changing rhythms, that's not alwYs a bad thing. Bands like Mastadon change tempo all the time and do it very well. Just because it's not consistent doesn't automatically make it bad. Chill out people. lol

+Trevor Anderson This one was premade, but I was teaching music lessons to a kid who, along with his dad, built one from a kit. Just make sure you sand the wood down good enough to avoid splinters. Oh, and some I believe include a type of wire against the front face to simulate the 'snare' type of sound.
