No i don't think so. This meter is set automatically according to your country unit, mine is set on mmol/L.

When I turned on the device, the display behaved very strangely. The display reacted slowly and you could see the “digital background” of the numbers and symbols on the display with every execution or action of the display, which I find very strange and which I think indicates a defect. is this normal ?

No. It's default according to region. But u can multiply the output by 18 to get mg/dl

joanne bell Background insulin dose suggestions and Correction dose suggestions for pre-meal insulin are locked for users.. you need a code to unlock them.

I have it working now all I did was plug it into laptop lol there's a way round it 😁

They are probably now doing it with plug-in.. before, it was with code for non-medical staff, or personal usage (at least in my country). Glad to see you solved that issue. :)

I have 2 of these monitors and they both read my BGL as low 1.4 & 1.9 on each yet another monitor is giving me my correct reading of 5.9.. how can I fix the my freestyle monitor to read properly ..? Anyone have any idea..? Please.. 🙏

My son preferred the older model of the Freestyle Optium, it was much easier to test without getting constant Error messages...but impossible now to get any but the temperamental new ones!!

Temperamental monitor, who invented and trialled this rubbish!!!!!! #Firstly often comes up with E3 when testing sugars for no reason. #Second it takes two batteries. #Thirdly I have 2 monitors one broke within 6 months and now doesn't read the tabs at all any more. I wouldn't advise using it, it is definitely not an upgrade of the last model.
