That was cool guys. Thanks for going to a different location. Also, I imagine Tony was happy to not have to do pogos.

In an ideal world, I'd be travelling around every month and recording tips from loads of good freestylers. That was always my original plan, but life (and a pandemic) got in the way.

I won't lie: I may have helped Marius structure this, but you know as well as I do that Marius and I are very similarly-minded in these things. He just normally heckles in Romanian, not English!

I love pogo tricks and truck dancing. I’m keeping my fingers crossed we see more.

I rarely do any truck tricks at all so this is something I'm largely going to be farming out to other skaters when I get the chance to film them. I'm sure Marius will resurface for one or more truck tricks at some point!

Wow, thank you guys so much for this trick series. This channel has really gotten me back into skating, and trying to skate more freestyle-ish. Thank you so much!

That's really good to hear. Slow and steady indoctrination is the goal here; we'll get you on a 27.5" long flat nosed freestyle deck eventually.

Nice work on this one, Marius. Just putting up with Tony for an afternoon is quite an accomplishment. Sorry to hear you failed in your attempt to murder Tony. 😂
@FreestyleTricktips2 жыл бұрын
Marius told me he doesn't like me (JOKINGLY) accusing him of murder, so I guess we've got to downgrade it to manslaughter now. 😂

@@FreestyleTricktips just to be clear, would that be Dahmer-ish manslaughter, or Putin-ish manslaughter?
@FreestyleTricktips2 жыл бұрын
@@jimgoodrich214 Ah, there's a language barrier here, I think. In British English "Manslaughter" is a legal term that effectively means "causing death through negligence". Do you not have that in America?
@jimgoodrich2142 жыл бұрын
@@FreestyleTricktips yeah, manslaughter means the same thing here. I was just having some fun with it given the circumstances.
@FreestyleTricktips2 жыл бұрын
@@jimgoodrich214 Ah, I thought you'd have a "x-degree murder" style phrase for it. You know me: I generally assume Americans don't know how to English. I find it's safer that way. 😅

Awesome trick tip! Cool idea to feature Marius.

All joking aside, Marius is the absolute best. He's been such a hero for freestyle and such a good friend for years - he absolutely doesn't need me to give him a push or a nod, but I'm always happy to help promote or support him in any way.

Awesome trick tip. I don’t try a lot of 50-50 related tricks, but the crossfoot sidewinder looks so rad. It seems like you don’t see too many people trying it. Very unique trick
@FreestyleTricktips2 жыл бұрын
I think it's basically just Marius and Ryan Brynelson. I can kind of understand why - it's very difficult to cross your legs over like that, and the regular sidewinder is already being massively overlooked as it is, even without the leg-tangling of this version. Everyone just wants to do carousels nowadays. FOR SHAME.

I got my first board in 1999 when I was 12 years old. I quit for a couple of years in the late 2000s (in a bid to try and do a "real job", have a normal boring adult life, etc.), so all told, I'm roughly 20 years deep at this point.

Hey Tony, could you elaborate on Marius "poisoning" you before Paderborn?
@FreestyleTricktips2 жыл бұрын
Hah. Short(ish) version of a long story: I have coeliac disease, and can't have gluten. Marius' wife made sure everything I ate was gluten free... only for Marius to tear bread apart next to the food one night, so I ended up getting a bad coeliac flare-up from it. Then, to make things worse, he convinced me (while I was already sick) that this roadside spring in the countryside was a great place for us to fill up our water bottles, and some bacteria in the water got straight into my bloodstream through my ripped-up and gluten-ravaged insides. I ended up in hospital when I got home and spent a couple of days on an IV with blood pressure so low I almost died. THANKS MARIUS. Fun fact: this was filmed just before we went to the spring. I was already suffering from coeliac disease; I didn't know how much worse things were about to get!

Jesus 😂 It wasn’t intentional, he got contaminated with some bread probabaly from my knife or something and he drinked some water from the ground were all the poeple drinks and he just was unlucky, that is all. I apologized a thousand times.
