I was one of Sweet sensation's engineer/producers & listening 30 years later. Great tunes, production & that classic sounding freestyle aside, must say Betty Dee's personality is the perfect representation of the group's name. Everyone involved may have been kind of, cool & miss them too? But I think she is the best person I've ever known in the music industry. And I've worked on bigger & much more popular multi platinum acts across genres, languages & the world.

Everyone had their favorite girl group...they all slept on SWEET SENSATION which happen to be my FAVORITE girl group at the time. Sucks that this era was short lived because it would of been great to see them make it big. Such talented girls with great voices and stage presence!! What vocals did you hear then and especially today do live shows with THEIR OWN VOICES!?!? Not many!! Very few in fact. These girls pulled it off if anything on one of the biggest stages of that era.....THE APOLLO!!¡! TAKE ME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, man. I was more of a fan of this group than I realized. I keep seeing songs by them on KZbin after looking up "If Wishes Came True," and saying, "OH MAN, THAT WAS MY JAM!!!" Lol. Great memories of a better time. :)

came across them last year with other freestyle artists. they are one of the best freestylists out there with Expose, The Cover Girls, Seduction, Genuine Parts, Sequal, Laissez Faire, Pajama Party, Company B and other greats of the Freestyle genre from the 80's and now.

I am very surprised how this music just died. Is like all the original singers that were known carried it as long as they could. New groups and singers came and went and never could make it as big. Because of it the originals are still selling out concerts to this day! Talk about special people. Wont trade this music for anything!

besides 80's metal 80's freestyle music (especially Latin freestyle) is a close second, then there is italo disco, eurotops from the 80's that is a tie for second. really like this group. too bad even until today there isn't a freestyle category in the awards ceremony. the music industry is still clueless.
