If you mean the 360° or 720° drifts he does, you can practice drifting while dribbling in freeplay and with time increase the time that you drift for.

Freestyling and competitive are 2 completely different things and they each require different kinds of skills, freestyling is simply going for cool shots and showing off your mechanical skills, competitive is more about the fundamentals like good positioning and rotations, good awareness and doing the basics perfectly, evample could do well in comp he would just have to adjust to competitive

Martin true having good mechanics is important in competitive( obviously), but you dont need to know how to do quadruple flip reset triple taps consistently to succeed, turbo has won rlcs 4 times and hes mechanics arent great compared to other pros, I do think freestylers can do well in comp tho if they dedicate themselves

I think the pressure got to you a little lol you were playing so clean the first few episodes cuz you had space. Now, even if you have the same space, I feel like you rush things and force them a bit. I think this is actually good for you because it will help you smooth out your higher pressure play :D
