NONAMESLEFTNONE... fyi... it's the Papacy that promotes Climate Change... they are the Deep State. They are the power that is "subverting" society behind the scenes. They are like an Aspen Grove with many trees but one root system. The Illuminati, the U.N., the EU, the WEF, the CFR, CIA, NSA, the IMF, the Federal Reserve, the "banksters," the Club of Rome, the Council of 300, the Bilderbergers, the Trilateral Commission, Hollywood, and the Mainstream Media are just some of the trees that make up that grove. They are using the Hegelian Dialectic to achieve their goals (problem, reaction, solution). And as Catechism 2188 shows, part of their solution for society's problems is a Sunday law. That's also why they promote Climate Change. It's about getting non-religious people on board with a Sunday law for the sake of lowering carbon emissions and saving the planet: adventmessenger.org/over-650-catholic-organization-world-wide-are-working-to-implement-the-popes-green-sunday-law/ If you go to www.anym.org/pdf/National_Sunday_Law.pdf you can read a free pdf Bible study that talks about the coming conflict between God's seventh-day Sabbath vs. the Pope's man-made Sunday sacredness. It identifies the two beasts of Revelation 13, the anti-Christ, and what the Mark of the Beast is all about and how to avoid getting it. Btw... if you are not convinced about the Jesuits and the Vatican... did you know both of Trump's nominees to the U.S. Supreme Court went to the same elite Jesuit high school in Bethesda, MD? www.nytimes.com/2018/07/10/us/kavanaugh-gorsuch-georgetown-prep.html Think about the power it takes to pull something like that off. And Trump's latest appointment to the Supreme Court (Amy Barrett) is also Catholic. The Papacy is looking to implement their social teaching called "the common good." It's ideology is Collectivist in nature and is opposed to the American concept of Individualism. If you're still not buying the Papacy is the Deep State... go into Google images and type "Vatican City snake head audience hall." As you look at that picture... think about where the Pope is sitting when he talks to the audience. If you're looking for more Red Pill knowledge about the global elite, Dr. Walter Veith is a great resource. He was into the occult world before becoming a Christian and has some very well documented PowerPoint presentations that are loaded with pictures and are real eye openers. Tell us that ALL white people are the racists?... don't get me wrong systemic racism clearly exist... to deny it is disingenuous and discredits the truth..... which is why we (reasonable people from the left and right) are in a battle that is not understood from either side..... quotas and affirmative action, welfare dependency promotion, abortion promotion, blocking of school choice/vouchers/charter schools in certain minority dominated areas with poor literacy, police union collusion with district attorneys and mayors to under or overcharge officers, poor policing and prosecuting in minority communities allowing gangs and criminal elements to ruin neighborhoods, single mother promotion policies.... ALL DEMOCRATIC PARTY policies and initiatives... not ALL white or Orange people... meanwhile Democrats selected Biden who supported the 1994 crime bill, gave a eulogy and praise for KKK top recruiter and supports the above racist policies. I often find when I have found areas where I have disagreed with Thomas Sowell's ideas it was because I wanted to not accept what he said, not because I had objectively listened to the arguments and decided. Regardless if your children embrace his ideas as you have, I bet they will still benefit from the positive outcomes you received from his work as they will probably have a positive effect on you and that will roll down hill. Thinking and good at heart people, men like Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Glenn Loury, John McWohrter and younger ones who are following in their footsteps don’t need attention and props as the intellectual clowns do. I wouldn’t think about it in terms of ‘attention they should have’. Those who are serious enough about themselves and others will find them and learn lifelong lessons from them, share from their more valuable than riches kind of wisdom and refreshing perspectives. The powers that be don’t want that. Real enlightenment and education of regular people goes against their interest. They need modern day numb and dumb serfs. They use their tools - the media, the public education system that they have been allowed to control for too long - to produce exactly the kind of masses they want. The pushing out of voices like Williams’ and Sowell’s from the public sphere makes sense when you see it in that pragmatic light, as sickening as it is.

Very empowering moment when I read his book and understood that I wasnt a victim of white man's oppression but a fake culture which prioritize dumb stuff. There are superior cultures, it has nothing at all to do with race, if the cultures were switched between black people and white people then the result would be a successful black community and devastated white community. I am also a big fan of Thomas sowells and milton friedmans arguments for capitalism and free markets. We have limited resources and it's upto us how we make the most of it, income inequality is actually a normal thing if your life is continuously getting better every decade, it's fascinating how dumb I was before I read all this stuff

I’ll be 79 years old in a few days and only ever heard of Dr Thomas Sowell about two years ago thanks to KZbin and the fortunate accident of fate that I would listen to a black intellectual with such rapt attention and admiration. I know that’s racist and I’m sorry for it. Consider the era I was raised in and the locale in which I was raised, Southern , Jim Crow era. Unfortunately my thoughts about race were formed somewhat in a vacuum. I finished high school in 1962 in a totally segregated society, in a small town with very little contact with people of different cultures. My family were at most kind Cristian people that were ambivalent about cultural and racial differences and taught me to be respectful and mannerly to all people I encountered. Needless to say, there’s been a lot of growing up to be accomplished by me in the course of my time here on this planet. One of the greatest men I’ve ever encountered, in any venue, is Dr Thomas Sowell. Why is he not more renowned ? His writings should be on every high school reading list for too many subjects to list, beginning with history, psychology, literature and so on and on. I’m sorry for sounding like such a bigot but I promise I’m not really. I’m actually just ignorant and a cultural product. I think Dr Sowell and his philosophy are national treasures and deserve more exposure to the mainstream. We can all benefit from his teachings.

Racism is not making comments about cultural differences. Every people/nation/society/culture on earth notices similarities and differences in other people/nation/society/culture. These observations are NOT RACISM. Racism is hatred; hatred is a sin: murder, torture, persecution, rape etc etc sinful behavior that breaks human rights laws against others based on their skin color, religion (called bigotry) and or/genetic disposition. The political Left has de-valued racism to the point of going back to segregation and division of race, instead of MLKs judging character and not skin color speech. (I had a dream).

One of the first things I was taught when beginning my journey into the realms of higher education was that "Critical, Open Minded Thinking" will be the key to unlocking the answers I will be seeking to fulfill my requirements. How right they were, and continue to be....but not only when it refers to education, but to so many differing aspects of my ever changing life and the world around me. He may not have all the answers, (Mr. Sowell), but what he does share with us makes enough sense to make us stop and think. By roughly the age of 32, I found myself questioning the direction, philosophy and agendas of the left that I'd been a part of since a late teenager. After stumbling onto a few interviews with Thomas Sowell, I was astounded by his level of intellect, insight, humbleness and delivery of factual knowledge and I knew at that point that I had been on the wrong track my whole life. Maybe not criminal, but certainly intentional. The majority of the print and electronic media have always been populated by the left. I know, because I worked there for four years, and experienced it first hand. But 50 years ago, most writers and producers still made an honest effort to present the news in an unbiased manner. Even though they privately disagreed with Buckley, Kilpatrick, and Friedman, they still gave them air time and editorial print space to present their ideas. After the '60s, that little bone to fairness started to disappear as the media increasingly unmasked their biases. Most egregiously in this cancel cultural shift (before it was called that) news managers hated black conservatives, and did everything they could to hide them and their views from the public eye. If it hadn't been for conservative talk radio and the internet, would we ever have heard of Walter Williams, Tom Sowell, Larry Elder, Ken Hamblin, Star Parker, Candace Owens, or Shelby Steele? I think not.

@@GabrielleTollerson The problem for the neo liberals began with the crisis of 2008. @spencerantoniomarlen-starr3069 Жыл бұрын
@@kimobrien. one of the main reasons for the financial crisis of 2008 was because of a series of bailouts provided by the federal government starting with the Mexican bailout of the middle 90s which allowed creditors to believe that no matter what happened, they would get their money back somehow some way. This is the opposite of allowing markets to operate on their own because they are a system of private profits and losses, not private profits and public losses. It's interesting that you are someone with a Hammer and Sickle should be commenting to indignantly under a video about a man who was himself a fervent Marxist throughout his 20s before getting a job working for the government and discovering how they actually operate first hand.

The can not solve the problems of their crisis ridden system for multiple reason outlined in Das Kapital by Marx and Imperialism the highest stage of Capitalism by Lenin. Show me some evidence of Sowell being a fervent Marxist. An article by him published in a Socialist or Communist journal. He has never claimed membership in even a black rights or labor organization to the best of my knowledge. Anyone who understands Marx except the revisionist who Lenin set straight in State and Revolution understands that Marx's view after the Paris commune is that the workers must build their own state or as Marx had said earlier in the Manifesto that the state can not readily be used by the workers. The inability of the capitalist state to act in the workers interest should have come as no surprise to an actual Marxist. The reason the capitalist set up a national government is to defend their nation state, private property along with regulating internal and foreign trade. Naturally people like Sowell come out with theories about how markets and private property are a magical solution to all problems.

As a young father, I learned a little about the welfare state, I had an infant son and was struggling financially in the early 80s, my landlord suggested applying for help. I went to the welfare office for an interview, I answered a bunch of questions as my interviewer took notes with a positive attitude until he asked me if I had a car. I told him that I had a 1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, he looked in a little book and said the car is worth 5k and that made me ineligible. He told me to sell the car, spend the 5k and he could help me with food stamps. I took this to mean you have to be totally broke and dependent on them before they will help you, and I wasn't willing to sell my car for several reasons. I used my car to get to and from my minimum wage job, and the car was a wedding present from my in-laws who would never forgive me. I chose to work 7 days a week and any extra hours that I could until I found a better job. I never asked welfare or anyone for financial help again. @Blair Sovereign, this quote I wrote about Dr. Sowell can apply to any group. You are assuming that I am a right winger? You don’t know, so stop assuming. On your point about climate change, there is no doubt that humans are having an effect on the environment. What do you proposed? Get rid of cars, don’t eat meat, no airplanes, no ships, no oil , NO AMAZON??? How big is your house? Mine is 3200 square feet of heating and air conditioning. My point is what are you willing to sacrifice for the environment? Move to a smaller house, no air conditioning, no car, public transportation. Tell me what are you going to sacrifice? Because that’s what is going to take. Don’t tell me about the environment unless you ride a bicycle to work , grow your own victory garden and live in a 1200 square foot efficiency apartment . The government will mandate for all of us to get rid of cars and buy an electric car to put solar panels on our roof to stop eating meat. They will force the sacrifice upon us, But they, they the elites and the government apparatchiks will be the ones with a car, and eating steak. We already seen it with the pandemic. They told everyone no Christmas, while they themselves travel to Mexico on vacations and spend time with their families, celebrated birthdays and weddings but I couldn’t have my daughters come visit me because I had more than 6 people in the house from more than two families. You think that Obama or Trump or Gore or Kerry care about the environment? Obama just bought a 12 million dollar house in Martha’s Vineyard, next to the water. Bill Gates also moved and built a beachfront house. But the polar caps are melting, said the poor masses who yearn for a beachfront house. all the coastline will be underwater by 2020 said Gore in 2,006. AOC the darling educated waitress updated the timeline and said 12 years for the end of the world. These people don’t care. All they care is to scared us like sheep and make money from the sales of the new green technology. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO SACRIFICE? I am not sacrificing a single thing!!! I worked hard, and paid lots of taxes to have what I have. This big blue marble we live in been here for 4 billion years and it will be here according to the scientists you put so much faith in for at least another 4 billion more. Until our Sun runs out of hydrogen and helium and implodes and become a white dwarf . I am not going to worry about it. I don’t think will be here another 100 million years as a species anyway. The scientist also say that in another 5 million years all the land masses again will be joined together and create a new single land mass like it was before. Pangea 2. That’s really going to change the climate a lot. But we didn’t do it. So don’t worry about it. Enjoy it while you can, those politicians sure will.

The Saiyern... fyi... it's the Papacy that promotes Climate Change... they are the Deep State. Sowell ignores the role of capitalist greed and the so called innovative banking industry. Sowells game is to show that capitalism has two sides to the same coin.

@@kimobrien. The other side is also greedy. However, today's capitalism is nothing but putrid wretched excess at this point in your reference to the banking industry.

@@brutonano9521 All that finance capitalism has become is giant gambling casino with industrial capitalism providing the surplus value to gamble with. The very success of finance capitalism's profiteering undercuts its ability to advance the productive forces. The rise in capital value also means the reduction of labor time which results in declining profit rates in capitalist industry when markets are already overflowing with overproduction.

@@kimobrien.Capitalism and Marxism are two sides of the same shekel. Both concentrate wealth into the hands of the Red Sea pedestrians. Capitalism is the tool they use to create the conditions that make Marxism desirabke. And Marxism is where they bag the lot in one go and turn the state into a human factory farm. Facts.

I was always a conservative black man and i see his point and agree with most of them, but i can never ever support the Trumplican Party of today with their voter suppression of black people, bigotry and racism. The GOP today doesn't hide their racism. They moved to the extreme far-right to a point that the words "black lives matter" slogan and civil rights protests is seen as a crime but they are OK with and minimize Police brutaity against black people. As soon as a blackman is murdered in cold blood on Camera they start defending the perpetrator! When a capitol stormer was killed al we heard was she was a veteran and no one showed her previous crimes and her mug sht but if a black person died the first they try to do is look for a mug shot and talk about his past run ins with the law! I voted demicrat for 1st time in 2020 and will do that until the Republican Party starts fighting for issues that are important to black people and stops supporting Police brutality.

@@subscribeforgoodluck1806 a couple of points. It seems clear that you have been biased thanks to the non stop lying of Corporate media. You disparagingly refer to 'Trumplican' as a terrible thing, but I noticed that you did not cite one policy of his that was negative, rather you repeated the talking points about Trump from the media, and presumably his supporters as 'far right'. This is an ongoing lie and couldn't be further from the truth. In fact it was Goebbels who famously said: "If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it." He's right. It worked in Nazi Germany and it's working right here with the Democrat party who constantly makes inflammatory statements with their MSM publicity arm, and why? Because THEY all agree with it. Trump, for the record was one of the first businessmen to hire minorities and women into high paying positions within his companies, back in the 80's. While he was in office, be put forth legislation that would decriminalize homosexuality around the world; two historic peace deals in the middle East, demanded that China pay as much tax on their imports to the US, as the US pays in taxes on their exports....and other legislation that would put the rights of THE PEOPLE, into their hands. It's called self determination. I urge you to watch the walkaway videos where every demographic is represented. I urge also to watch a few videos of Brandon Tatum, Anthony Brian Logan, David Harris Jr., Bevelyn Beatty, YG Nightstorm, Larry Elder...just to name a few to realize that you have been bamboozled by voting for more government control of your life. Please read it watch something that isn't shilling for the Democrats. They are not your friend and have kept you in the dark for 50+ years now. I wish you well.
