The tree with the star ornaments was my fave. I'm from the USA, so I didn't actually catch the neighborhood or area, but it caught my eye. London looks so spectacular with decorations and gorgeous trees. Thanks for sharing places I won't ever see in person.

Hi Sinead our fibre optic already decorated tree came out the black bin bag we store it in all year round just plugged it in and away it went. Until it goes back in the bag for next year 😂

My interpretation of 'flourescence' is that the artist is demonstrating that traditional colours on Christmas trees still work and that we don't have to worry about offending certain areas of society. The rigidity of the tree is symbolic of how such trees now lack character. Ha! Im with the designer all the way!

Before Christmas trees were shrink wrapped into a net the diameter of the Norwegian tree in Trafalgar Square was governed by being able to fit through the hatch into a ships hold. They have suffered from damage in transit in some past years. Being tall and straight was the main criteria. Norwegian Spruce aren't as wide as a Douglas Fir but have a more dense needle coverage and don't shed as many.
