I’m American. I thought that I had recently heard the Belgravia was where the wealthy live in London

Sorry but none of those pubs are open at night to serve the butchers. Museum of London is in the section of the market by Farringdon Road called the village not in the main building whose future is still undecided. You didn’t go anywhere near the other market buildings which are also historic. Not one one mention of Charles Dickens & his significance to this part of the city. I worked Smithfield for 13 years worth of nights & I have never ever seen or heard anything supernatural at all to say that is haunted is ridiculous.

So many pubs now look corporate, have the same beer and food. Making pubs into Starbucks.

My interpretation of 'flourescence' is that the artist is demonstrating that traditional colours on Christmas trees still work and that we don't have to worry about offending certain areas of society. The rigidity of the tree is symbolic of how such trees now lack character. Ha! Im with the designer all the way!

Excellent tour. The Mary Jane Kelly crime scene is horrific. If you look at her forehead and hairline, it is untouched and a very distinctive hairstyle. Based on that and the likely auburn hair color, she would be instantly recognizable by anyone who knew her.

i love these window displays, getting closer to the whole theme & tradition, sort of, of christmas. the secular interpretation. it would be lovely to see the spiritual meaning expressed here & there. but it's not a chaotic mess like last years creations. i love art, but what the 'ell was that about? i'm in the u.s.a., i bought my little family gifts from london, the postage was pretty steep, so that was a one time treat. i got my son a basket from f&m. i want to be there!!! i'm so glad i got to taste champagne before i got sober 30+ years ago. i drank myself sick. it was such a sensory experience. if only i could have stopped at a few. i want that tea pot ornament!! yeah, they were pretty weird back in the day. i was all excited to see a stack of vintage cards, then i looked at them & i was traumatized, holy you know what. lovely time! so many goodies. merry christmas!
